Everytime i fly to Italy I land in Pisa around 12.30pm giving me the opportunity to stop at Romano for lunch......what can i tell about this place....everything is perfect and the food extraordinary .By the way Romano is good friend of Sirio Maccioni owner of Le Cirque in NYC ( he told me about this place) .

we had a family dinner in this restaurant and had an amazing time and food. The starters are a must, loved each of them and also main courses were very good. Service very attentive and pleasant. will be back!

I went by myself, and I was treated like royalty, given a good table, not off in the corner somewhere. Very classic Italian menu, pasta starter was amazing, fresh pasta, amazing olive oil, beautiful seafood. main dish meat entree was mouthwatering and tender. Wine list is one of the best in Viareggio

Wow. This place has an amazing selection of seafood. I recommend everyone that loves seafood to go here. They have a lot to choose in-between and the staff is very flexible. We gave them a little tip and they put a bottle of limoncello on the table. GREAT.

This is an old trattoria that has been around for many years and originally catered to fishermen of the nearby port of Viareggio. The clientele has somewhat changed but locals are still predominant. We enjoyed very much the "caciucco", the local fish soup with chunks of fish. The seafood salad was also very good. Not a fancy place but a straight cuisine.

We had problem with finding a restaurant for lunch on Monday and after 4 unsuccessful calls came across this place.To be honest, both of us were really happy we came for lunch here. It tasted so delicious: pasta was amazing, seafood was fresh and well cooked. Great seafood restaurant with freshly made pasta.Only minus was that they had no tea and sometimes we had to wait to get attention of staff.Dear Customer, we thank you for your wonderful review and for taking the time to write it. From the outside you wouldn't give it a buck: it seams more a bar than a tavern. The staff is great and the service super. On saturday nights, especially on high season, you need to book a table in advance. Good and tasty food. Though the price isn't exactly a tavern price, it's worth.

We have chosen it after looking at the nearby of Viareggio for having a fish lunch.We had a delicious 5 fish plates appetizer and 2 home made cakes with very good local white wine. Gorgeous!!!!They use only local fresh fish, varying on the daily availability. Everything is cared with attention, bread included. Local food with "bio" is well implemented. Raccomanded.
