We stopped here without seeing any recommendations and stumbled across the perfect spot for a cup of tea, a rest and wonderful hospitality.Within seconds of climbing down the stairs we were seated around a traditional fireplace, offered English menus, and books showing magnificent pictures of Shirakawa-go while we wait for our tea.The pride and love for the town and their cafe was evident on the couple looking after us and in retrospect, we made a mistake not returning here for lunch.

Insospettabile valida location per un break dopo una lunga camminata nel grazioso paesino montano, Sito allâinterno di una classica casa gassho zukuri (patrimonio dellâumanità Unesco) ovvero âcase costruite come le mani giunte in preghieraâ per resistere alle grandi nevicate di questa zona. Propongono solo caffè ( americano , no espresso ) sia caldo che freddo , o tea o cioccolata PUNTO E STOP ( no cibo no altro ) il bello é che ti trovi come in una casa , con una libreria e soprattutto con una vista molto valida sulla natura circostante. Abbinato a ciò ottima musica classica.Prezzo flat Â¥ 500 a persona ( diciamo tra i 4 e 5 euro ) Interessante esperienza. Allego un poco di foto.Pagamento solo in contanti ( Â¥ ) ENJOY
