We love the Runway Cafe for breakfast or lunch and took friends there this past Saturday, July 15, for a yummy breakfast with a view. Food as always was great. Unfortunately, the service was not. Two girls working, one provided great customer service. The other was miserable, she was so flustered and pouty (as if her boyfriend had broken up with her) her bad behaviour was noticed by all of us for her terrible attitude. And her nails were so long that she couldn't even prep food or use the cash machine. She should not be working there. But we will be back regardless because we love the place. Mr. Lunch is an outstanding place for breakfast or lunch or both! Fresh baked muffins every morning (my favourite is apple crumble) as well as a varied breakfast menu including a very fine Denver sandwich. Lunch also has a varied menu as well as daily specials including Taco Tuesdays and my personal favourite which is the VERY BEST BEEF DIP I have had. James and Tara are there at 7:00 a.m. to greet you with a smile and offer fast, friendly service. I highly recommend that you give Mr. lunch a try - you won't be disappointed!!

It's a lovely shop with lovely products, but when I asked for 200g of each of two (expensive) cheeses, I asummed I was getting something close to that. In a well-run establishment, a well-trained staff member tells the customer if it's not close. One cheese was 0.282, one was 0.262. In my book,that is sharp practice. Its about TEN dollars more.
