Nice bar in the country side just outside the town of Oirschot. Nice selection of beers available. The diner was so so. There is room for improvement. The order of medium rare steak was served well done with the not mistakable taste of liver. The starter of smoked duck was assembled out of salty nuts a bit of lettuce and few slices of smoked duck breast. A little bit of attention and creativity would live up to the title of "Diner Cafe". The service was quite decent. It was a pity that complete staff of waiters disappeared to back for a while during the evening. there was a queue at the bar of people that wanted to order or pay, but no staff to serve. I certainly would go back, but than just enjoy a beer.

This formerly family-owned Café is also a museum of how things were in earlier times. Amazing atmosphere, lots and lots of interesting items on the walls and, of course, great service, great beers and nice Dutch food. Do not expect a culinary hi-time but the food is simple and good. Als lunch plek gekozen tijdens fietstocht met vrienden. Voortreffelijk. Lunch was goed verzorgd en service was prima. Dit is een plek waar we regelmatig aanleggen, of voor een lunch, of een koffie met gebak of een keuze uit de uitgebreide bierkaart.Nooit worden we t eleurgesteld.
