Oirschot (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈoːrsxɔt] ( listen); dialect: Orskot) is a municipality and a town in the southern Netherlands. It is situated 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) from the city of Eindhoven and 20 kilometres (12 mi) from the city of Tilburg in the province Noord-Brabant (North Brabant). The municipality had a population of 18,599 in 2017.

The Sint Petruskerk is well worth a visit and has a very long and rich history. The tower is one of the highest church towers of the Netherlands and the (Roman Catholic) church has many things on display.

A very old church currently used by the Protestants and before by the Catholics. A very interesting little church full of (a very long) history. Read about it and be amazed.

Ben je opzoek naar iets bijzonders, iets interessants, iets historisch, ga naar het VVV kantoor. Vriendelijke maar vooral ook behulpzame medewerkers. Zeer deskundig. Zijn prima op de hoogte. Wil je goed voorbereidt Oirschot gaan bekijken loop dan eerst bij de VVV binnen.

I enjoyed my walk in the countryside called"Campina" along the Beerze river.The landscape is typical of Braband province and a mix of nature and agriculture.

Een groot assortiment met een winkel die gericht is op Professionals. En ze hebben verschillende winkels zoals speelgoed, carnavals winkel in het doe het zelf zaak zitten. Dit is erg handig dat alles in 1 winkel te vinden is.

Erg mooi museum. Er zijn alleen originele spullen en de vrijwilligers weten erg veel te vertellen en staan open voor alle vragen. De persoonlijke verhalen spelen een grote rol, dat is mooi gedaan. Gratis te bezoeken op woensdagen, dat is ook mooi meegenomen!
