Owners take care of your food! Pizza was amazing, it was the best pizza I've ever eaten in Chile! Great variety of pizza. Environment is good and service better. If you go to Los Andes or if you are planning to go sky to Portillo you must stop here to have lunch or dinner! Un lugar único en Los Andes, decoración singular y atrayente, diversidad en café y te, los sándwich preparados por sus dueños simplemente exquisitos y originales. Dulces, pasteles, productos en conservas, etc....Se recomienda visitarlo.

We stayed in Chalet Rio Blanco while skiing at Portillo, and ate dinner at Ventisquero Guardia Vieja twice and breakfast once. The place is nice and big with a European ambiance, and Sergio greeted us as regulars by the second visit. For dinner the first night I had Lomo Liso (steak with two eggs on top) which I thought was good, followed by delicious papayas in cream for dessert. My wife said the soup was good. Dinner the second night was salmon, and a huge bowl of ice cream for dessert. Breakfast was nice scrambled eggs with ham and cheese, and good Nescafé with hot milk. Sergio only speaks a few words of English, and we speak only very basic Spanish, but we were able to communicate and Sergio was patient with us. They take credit cards. Outside they have llamas. All was good and I'd eat there again on my next visit.

Al dar mi opinion y escribir estas lÃneas, me centro en el hecho que desde mi punto de vista la atencion es engañosa ya que solicité el menú y al momento de pagar la cuenta salió mas de lo esperado. Esto debido a que manejan dos tipos de menú normal y ejecutivo. Siento que lo correcto es que la persona que atiende, al momento de tomar el pedido realice la aclaración para evitar estos inconvenientes y malos ratos.De todas maneras el plato estaba sabroso pero los 8 mil pesos que cuesta no lo vale.Por otro lado el lugar estaba bastante frio, al punto de comer con la chaqueta puesta.
