Gori restaurants tend to be a bit dark and unfriendly looking, some like to display animal trophies on the wall and in the window... if this is not you're thing, Cake House is a wonderful, welcome change. Bright, open cafe with relaxing wicker chairs, glass coffee tables and a sunny outlook. I didn't see a no smoking sign but I also never encountered any smokers on the 3 occassions I visited. I nice display of cakes are available (I especially like the Tiramisu) and one type of pizza, khachapuri and a selection of coffees and cold drinks. Free WI FI is available throughout. Cafe is right near Stalin Park. A separate function room is available for birthday parties and a range of large cakes are available for take-away.

Excellent choice of coffee and cakes! We also had lunch that was taste and very good service! We came at this place 3 times during our stay at Gori! Very charming and lovely seating out tables! Prices are good for the service and food you get!

We ate a great meal here at lunchtime. Felt like being looked after by a family member, the owner took trouble to explain as best her English and our Georgian (ours was non existent!) would allow, to describe the dishes. She then went and made them individually while we drank tarragon lemonade, plus very strong home-made wine (a bit like retsina) lovely beans in a pot, salads, and Georgian pizza (with mayo, and more like bruschetta, tasted very good). Accommodated veggies. A pleasure to eat here.

The cafe is located in the city center,near the Stalin museum. It offers delicious Georgian bakery, fast food, sweets (soft ice creams, Italian ice cream), cakes and superb coffee.

Popped in for a coffee and a quick bite... great selection of cakes and great coffee! The cheese katchapuri was very filling and more than enough for two.
