It's wonderful to find a restaurant in Balikpapan that consistently serves good food. I have been to De Cafe many times for lunch, and their menu items are always available and delicious. It's located in Pasar Segar, a fave hang-out area for all Balikpapanese. Pasar Segar has some food and drink booth options, but I think Etnica wins for it's comfortable atmosphere. Drinks and coffee are good and a friend said that their burger is yum. I'll try it when I go there again and will let you know .

Very good pub with cold beer and attentive staff. The service was excellent. The food was very good. The band on Friday night was 1st class and the band on Saturday night was average to good.

The food is not too special but they are good. I always order curry with rice and tea tarik. They tea tarik is very nice and quite authentic. What's best here is the place as they are located on beach next to the sea. Very romantic at night.
