One of place I often visit to have dine or lunch with colleague and friends. It is located in Blue Sky hotel which is famous with the taste of the food served at theirs restaurants. A nice and romantic place, laid beside the swimming pool.

The seafood is so delicious. Various types of fish, squid, shrimp and crab are available here. With the presentation of a wide variety of very delicious. Grilled milkfish without thorns is my top choice. Variegated very savory sauce. Dining options at Torani steady.

It's wonderful to find a restaurant in Balikpapan that consistently serves good food. I have been to De Cafe many times for lunch, and their menu items are always available and delicious. It's a small but clean warung just at the side of the street. The soto is fresh and tasty (balanced, not too salty). A very recommended place if you bored with the seafood restaurant ;) I also love the ice tea, it has a hint of vanilla flavour. Ps. Beware of the sambal though... Very very spicy :p

I took public transportation to get here at night to fulfill my curious thought about this place. Indeed, this place is not big and not may not in your sight since this place is so humble. I insist to visit this place based on many good reviews about mantau and beef black pepper here. My friend order Fried Crab Noodle, Kwetiau Seafood and me, of course, order fried mantau and the beef black pepper. OMG they are like dancing on my tongue! very delicious!

Cendrawasih is famous for its meat soup and soto banjar, local soup from Borneo consist of chicken, duck's egg, fried spice potato with sweet and salt taste. Beside that they also serve mix fruit cocktail. It is sweet and almost all people love it. Some delicious pie and cake also available here. It is nice for breakfast, brunch or lunch.

Since I favor garlic on my food, I order fried crab with garlic taste. The taste is awesome, moreover pieces of garlic were found everywhere on the food. With the price around Rp 275rb, we will be served with 2 crabs. Order female crabs with eggs since the eggs was very delicious
