Read the reviews before we went and should have taken notice. Service is indeed poor and slow. Took over 1 hour between ordering and receiving our meals. In the meantime we ordered a 500ml carafe of house wine which cost an eye-watering €15!!!!Truly poor overall. We won't be returning.

The food in itself isn't bad but everything else can be, to put it mildly, gratly improved. Waiting times & service are way below standard. Even though Halle prides itself on being flemish half of staff doesn't even understand. God forbid anything you ordered is wrong or bad because you not only have to wait an eternity to be served a new dish, a commercial gesture or apology is non existent in their vocabulary. Sometimes even plain rude.So as said, if nothing else is available...

I have been eating yesterday with a friend and we were quite satisfied. Nice smiley welcome and during the evening. Great starter Fondu de Brie and croquettes de maredsous. The main dishes were served in quantity , homemade fries but not sure that the sauces are also 100% homemade... But globally good value for money

Friendly and efficient service. food well prepared;, and portions are rather big. We had aspargus as a starter and they were very well prepared.prices are reasonable and a lot of choice on the menu card. It can be rather hot in summer time I guess, and it is a pity that the terrace is situated at the street side which is very busy with lot of traffic.Price of wine also reasonable. All in all a good choice for a good meal at a good price in not the most fancy restaurant ; but we will be back becausr of quality of food and friendly and good service..
