After a VERY DISAPPOINTING Brauwelt Tour, we decided to have lunch. Great idea! The food was delicious local fare. The Kasekrainer (with mustard) was wonderful. The Belegtes (open faced beer bread sandwich) were too die for - we tried the Butter and Chive and the Speck. We wanted to try a number of in-house beers and went for the Klassik Verkostung (tasting) and the Premium Verkostung - 2dl of 3 brews in each flight.we ended up liking the Both were excellent, but we liked the less expensive Klassik more. Excellent, friendly, knowledgeable service.Dear George! :-) Many thanks for your great recommendation. But it's a pity that you had a disappointing Brauwelt-Tour - what day did you have the guided tour? Die Weisse is a quintessential biergarten located in a quiet section of Salzburg. We were told that it is primarily frequented by locals; but, there were many tourists there on the night that we visited. They have both indoor and outdoor seating in a casual setting. We selected some of the local specialties and were very pleased with our selections. This restaurant is worth seeking out.

Best restaurant my boyfriend and I went while in Salzburg. On the first night we had already a blast, for the food is delicious and the staff was amazing. As I asked Attila if we could book a table for the next evening, he said they were fully booked for the next weeks, which is understandable. However, he came back later with a perfect solution and we came back the next day to enjoy a tailored dinner set together specially for us both. We were simply speechless, feeling like in a knights banquet. Thank you Seppâl for the kindness and Attila for the fantastic and personal service!

I stumbled across this restaurant while searching Tripadvisor for restaurant suggestions during my stay in Salzburg. This restaurant was located away from the main city, however it turned out to be a hidden gem. Our waiter Daniel was very friendly and welcoming, and also strangely resembled Chris Hemsworth. The food was absolutely fantastic (highly recommend the pork chops). In fact, the food was so good, we went back the day after. When I return to Salzburg in the future, I will be sure to stop by again. Writing this review has made me hungry again. 10/10

We had a great meal at Bierheuriger and the atmosphere was very comfortable and fun. They have other choices than just authenic Austrian food and for a great price. Our waitress, Eva, was very friendly and nice. One of the better restaurants that we tried during our stay.
