-Menu was in German, but the waiter took the time to patiently explain every item in English. In addition, they are very flexible in accommodating menu changes.-Food was very authentic, delicious, and fresh.-Family run restaurant ambiance with comfortable seating.-Service was excellent.Would recommend this to everyone!

We were a group of 40 guests and chose this as a meeting point for our first night at the hotel. We enjoyed a good mean at the Einkehr. The food is solid, plentiful and unpretentious. Service was very good here, which wasn't easy for them with such a large group.Good atmosphere.

We came for a quick dinner before driving back to Germany,we have ordered Halibut fish that was served with half a Lobster and pasta that was deliciousMy wife enjoyed the prawns that were served with vegetables.The wine list is a bit small and a bit overpriced.The food was done in excellent as well skilled way.We definitely recommend

At the top of the cable car ride, pass the first cafe but stop at the second which looks like an alpine house. We asked for gluwein which was out of season, but was instead offered a very similar alcoholic hot wine based drink full of spices and flavour. It was delicious, but don't know what it was called. Perfect for sitting out on their terrace taking in the snowy view. For food we ordered the 'special' sausage dish. A giant sausage arrived coated in a sauce and crumbled spices and served with dark bread. It was out of this world!Great food, drink, service, view, and the prices were normal (I.e. no premium for being stuck on top of a mountain).

Beautiful surroundings as you can see the nearby mountains from the garden. Elegant lights and furniture. Good quality meals, I loved my mushroom stew. Fine service. The waitress lady spoke English. The waiter gentleman did not so we had some difficulty with the daily menu. After the dinner he surprised us by letting us know he spoke our language ... why not tell it before?Clean restroom.Everything was great.

This was our favorite restaurant in Salzburg! The food, waitstaff and views were amazing! They had a variety of foods (some austrian, and others different types.) The prices were also very reasonable! Definitely recommend visiting here if you're in Salzburg!

I didn't expect so much from a hotel restaurant but this one changed my mind. Good tasty and well executed meals. They also had good wine list by bottle. Since I was not familiar with Austrian wine, I asked the waiter for the recommendation and he gave one red wine which was excellent and good value. Friendly and helpful staffs. This place is the best local food in South Salzburg. It's always full on weekends so make a reservation. Their daily menu is always a variety of yummy quality food such as deer medallions with spinach pasta and mash potatoes. Each day they have special dishes. They are also famous for large snitzels, fried chicken and cordon blue. The price is low for Salzburg while service is friendly and usually fast. My favorite place in the area.

My husband and I tried to eat dinner here on Monday, March 4th at 7:15 pm. We were asked if we had a reservation, and then rudely turned away. We saw that one dining room was completely empty. I'm guessing they were short of kitchen or wait staff help.Dear Bucherma, I am very sorry that you didn´t get a table at our Restaurant. I am not sure, but probably we served dinner in our smaller Dining room that night and this may be was full.May be you will visit us again - with Reservation in Advance please - during your next visit to Salzburg.All the best, Sylvia

We had a great meal at Bierheuriger and the atmosphere was very comfortable and fun. They have other choices than just authenic Austrian food and for a great price. Our waitress, Eva, was very friendly and nice. One of the better restaurants that we tried during our stay.
