Excellent location, average food, descent prices. It was a sunny day, we were sitting outside and ordered pizza and beer. Pizza was far from an Italian one, but we ate it all. The price was a bit high (12,80 ⬠for a not big pizza), but quite acceptable for Hallstatt.

Parking is virtually impossible at hallstadt and costs the earth. Go to Obertraun which is before hallstadt but still on the lake. There are two services then to hallstadt - one by small boat and another by larger boat every hour from here. Parking here is dirt cheap and plentiful.In the meantime you can visit this cafe. It is small with a cheerful although not particularly cheap, menu. Service with a smile and super clean toilets. Many things to do on the side of the lake.
