Als wir am Samstag vor etwa 10 Tagen uns um 1330 niedersetzten waren etwa ein Drittel der Sitze frei, nach ein paar Minuten kam ein Mitarbeiter zu uns um uns mitzuteilen , dass das Lokal augebucht sei, als wir nicht gleich gegangen war kam noch ein Mann zu uns um uns dasselbe zusagen. Ich möchte betonen dass wir weder betrunken noch schmutzig waren noch unansehnlich aussehen

Die Hütte ist ein idealer Platz zum Rasten, ein herrlicher Ausblick auf Rax, Schneeberg, Semmering, das Steinfeld, etc. dazu herrlichen Hopfenstrudel, ein Häferlkaffee oder für die nicht SüÃen gibt es Ham and Eggs und Bier.

Nach lange Zeit wieder einmal im Gasthof Pollerus ehemals Strassgürtl. wie immer bodenständige sehr leckere Küche. freundliche Bedienung trotz vollem Gasthaus. auch ein kleiner Sonderwunsch war kein Problem.

A very fine dining experience- an alpine walk, meticulous smart service, sitting on the balcony enjoying a stunning view...high quality cooking with very good fresh ingredients which was a very reasonable price- not to mention the intriguing building by one of the great early modern architects. I cannot recommend this highly enough.

This restaurant serves a very good food in various formulas (half-board, a la carte, candlelight,...). Beware that the capacity is limited, so the hotel guests have a priority -- it is logical, given that the hotel aims at providing an excellent level of service to its guests.

Between the holidays (on the 29th of December) they run out of everything but âLinsen mit Knödelâ and French fries at 2:30pm. And they let you wait in line for 30min to tell you that. Bad planing and even worse communication. At least the prices are ok. Restaurant part that says âwith serviceâ doesnât have any... staff is friendly.

Nice Austrian alpine cabin with a small menu but homemade food (try the Enzian burger or the homemade soups). It is situated in the middle of the Zauberberg sliding coast!

If you come to Austria and want to experience local culture and relax,here is your best option in Austria!! We drive from Budapest for a while and randomly found this place! We heard that it was operated by local couple and turns out they are very lovely,nice and professional management team! With warm welcome drinks and greeting, our exhausted mind and body finally get some refresh feeling. And then we saw all the organic product and realize the family try every way to keep the ORGANIC lifestyle in the hotel,from room,daily care products to food!! Speaking of food,you have to try!! The chef is very nice and use all fresh ingredients in the day! Like the fish fillet I had,he used some wild chrysanthemums and some other spices to cook the fish,which make it taste so nice!! And the air in the mountain definitely is extra benefits for you!

I stayed at this gasthaus for three nights and only ate here. It provides a very satisfying breakfast buffet. The dinners were fantastic. Service was also fantastic. Highly recommended as a restaurant and a place to stay. The decor in my room was a bit tired but everything was spotless. The staff were lovely and courteous allowing me to leave my pack so I could do an overnight walk. My only suggestion is that they put smokers in their own room in the restaurant.
