Large establishment, good looking interior, impressive aquarium. Medium sized parking. Toilet facilities are a little delapidated, deserve more attention. 6 page menu offering selection of maki, sashimi, yakitori, soup, noodles, beef and much more. All you can eat formula, the six of us spent 38 EUR a piece including several drinks per head. Good value. Recommended.

Really excellent Sushis served in a stylish way. One recommendation: trust the chef and ask him to make a selection for you.Excellent service and reasonable prices. Book a table as the place is not very large. Well done, Isushi! Eric

We came with high expectations, as Ron Blaauw is a renowned chef. Well, and actually that's the problem with TV chefs opening up restaurants in multiple numbers, they seem to lose control and lose the eye for details. Actually, that seems to be exactly the case at Ron Gastrobar Indonesia.Besides the eye for details, the entire concept is confusing, being the reason why the waiters need to explain the menu concept to each and every guest (I noticed that was bing the case). The appetisers seem straight forward in terms of concept, so other than some flat tastes (for instance the Ayam Goreng, very flat taste which really needs to provided sauce to give it some spice). The Duck Spring Rolls were very nice by the way.The concept of the main courses is very confusing. You can either choose by ordering family style dishes that are inspired by the Indonesian cuisine to create some fusion type of dishes. Or you can order the traditional Rijsttafel where a range or pre-selected dishes is served for everyone to share. We opted for the individual dishes and added 1 traditional dish from the Rijsttafel, namely Rendang. The Rendang was really very disappointing, it appeared it had a very dominant taste of nutmeg, and in any case it was not the Rendang that it should be (in any case not tasting at all like the Rendang I know and tasted from the times I live in Indonesia for 6 years). The other dishes also seemed to lack taste or had a very dominant spiciness to it which was then the only thing one could taste. A great exception actually was the tuna tartar, which was really nice, however the connection to the Indonesian cuisine isn't really there. The Indonesia chef that acts on behalf of Ron Blaauw seems to be very stressed in the kitchen (it's an open kitchen) and also looks very grumpy. He was continuously arguing with the serving staff.........if he would focus more on getting his dishes right I am sure his energy would be used a lot better.Again, an example of a restaurant that relies too much on the name and fame of the TV chef, without really delivering what you would expect from such a renowned TV chef

Nice, clean, friendly place, they serve authentic Cantonese and Szechuan cuisine a la carte, for around ⬠20 for most dishes, delicately steamed turbot (fish) is only ⬠27,50. The food is not europeanized, which really is a blessing, best served with white rice so not to interfere with the fine taste of the dishes. The all you can eat "wok" menu isn't really authentic fine chinese cuisine, I would avoid it.Mrs. Huang, the wife of the cook-owner and hostess, will on request recommend her husband's best dishes to suit your taste.Free parking opposite the restaurant.

Its nice to go to a Chinese restaurant and be able to order somewhat traditional food.Menu has a very good selection, prices may seem high but most dishes are to be shared. We were a table for two and 2 portions of rice and one main sharer. Plus a starter was more than enough for us.Staff were efficient and friendly, food came out relatively quickly as it was a busy time.I'll go back next time I'm in the city.
Bediening is vriendelijk. Al met al een redelojke balans tussen kwaliteit en prijs. Als je iets meer wilt dan een gemiddelde Chinees, dan is dit een goed adres.
Black Pepper has the best Argentinian meat. We ensure that the meat is stored refrigerated (-1 ° C), not frozen, until the cooking time, this process ensures the unique taste of our meat.
We reserved a table at this restaurant, waiters aren't very attentive when you enter the restaurant. We ordered our meal about 10 minutes after being seated.I ordered the Jalea( breaded seafood) and my bf carpaccio, both were okay, nothing special. For my main course I had the ribeye very rare,it was grilled perfectly. My partner had the medium rump, both were fine. The chimichurri is really bad.I worked years in an Argentinian steakhouse,so I have had good chimichurri. Pico de gallo was okay.Waiters are not very attentive with drink orders. It took a while to order my second wine. For dessert I had the Flan Casero,it missed taste. My partner had the Dama Blanca,it was served with sorbet instead of vanilla ice cream, big mistake. He hates sorbet.Overall it was average for the price,we paid a little over 50 euro per person. It's not bad, just average,so don't think I would recommend it or repeat.I just miss a bit of friendliness and attentiveness from the waiters.Pity, cause it's a small restaurant in a small town.

My first time at this traditional Japanese restaurant for lunch today. A truly authentic experience at an extremely affordable price. Open for lunch and dinner - would recommend booking for dinner. Lunch was very busy and a great sign that it was filled with happy Japanese customers! We had the ramen set lunch with Iberico pork and were also very happy. Not too heavy to eat and friendly service. We were very satisfied customers.
