Once we found this place during our last week when we stayed at Kuta, we kept coming back.Whilst it wasn't the cheapest around (Juices $3.30, Quesadilla $7.00, Eggs Benedict $5.50) the quality and meal size were excellent.Beers were always cold (however we learnt how to ask for them freezing cold 30 years ago) and the staff very friendly (true Balinese)

Pretty decent smoothie bowl. Nothing to shout about, but good enough nonetheless especially on a hot day. Coffee is good as well. Staff is friendly. Location is near kuta beach. Easy access.

Mita makes the BEST cocktails!!! We went back everyday just to have her make us cocktails, you must visit. You can get excellent service everywhere in Bali, but sometimes the product doesnât meet the service, not at Dovetail!! So winner, fantastic staff and delicious beverages.

Been here twice for breakfast, good coffee (hard to find) great food not huge portions but thatâs just fine for us. Staff very attentive on a busy street so you do get a fair bit of traffic noise.

Itâs rare when every element of a restaurant is aligned and congruent; from the moment you enter obliquely through a trapezium shaped steel door, one is greeted by smart and pretty receptionists. We are whisked to our table, past the glass refrigeration area where rows of beef are aged for 28days, past the open kitchen, the air is redolent of medallions and strips of precious steaks grilled over a charcoal fire, the sense of anticipation intensifies into a ravenous hunger. The decor is in charcoal, brown and white within a double volume space. We are on the ground level. The vibe is warehouse meets contemporary interior design. Our service staff for the evening is a charming pretty girl who is efficient and well versed. Could one ask for more ?The 900gm USDA ribeye on bone arrived then. It came with a perfectly caramelized crust and medium doneness within; juicy and tender. It didnât need any extra seasoning for it was perfectly salted with their own seasoning mix of spice, pepper and salt. We had also the garlic mash, mushrooms & salad. Everything was just perfect. Been coming here for a few years now. But SOMEONE need to teach the cooks. When breakfast arrived the eggs were fried. They should be trained how to make SUNNY SIDE UP EGGS. New staff always, untrained and have no idea on western food preparation. The old staff was great, now we start over again.sad

Fat Tonyâs is right across from where I stayed in Bali and the first time I walked by without giving it much thought. After all, why get a burger in Bali? After reading the reviews I gave it a shot and loved my steak & cheese sandwich. It was delicious. Service was outstanding and they really care about your experience. It really made my day. I canât believe the quality and service for the price they charge. Itâs the best deal youâll find.
