The W Hotel certainly has a grand entrance. Taking the buggy ride down the fancy tree-lined main entrance with water fountains lights certainly set the expectations high and I was excited to see what the food was going to be like.The hotel is certainly very grand, one of the nicest ones I've seen ever. The location at the beach hearing the waves crash at night was lovely so it was really disappointing to have over a 20 minute wait for a pizza that was literally sauce with 10 small pieces of chicken. There were some slices that didn't have any topping at all on it, just sauce. I was expecting a lot better and given that this is one of the more expensive places to stay, I have to say that I am glad I am not staying there spending over $400 a night if this is the standard of the food.Hello deeblack888,Many thanks for your feedback regarding your recent visit to Woobar. One of the nicest restaurants we have ever dined in (worldwide) and most definitely in Bali. Everything was so impressive from the decor and ambience, the opera singer, the service (especially fantastic), food and drinks. On the pricier side for Bali (on par with Sydney prices) but definitely worth it for a special occasion or to treat yourselves. I had Mie Goreng for lunch. I asked that it not be too spicy. presentation of my meal was excellent. From the first bite it was a little bit too spicy but I was able to look past that and just enjoy the delicious flavours. It was the best Mie Goreng I have ever eaten. The service and ambience was great. I loved having lunch here with 4 other family members. Everyone enjoyed their meal - so many good things to choose from.

food is excellent, staff are wonderful and make their guests very welcome. The only down side is their wine is expensive, very nice but it does increase the cost of the meal considerably. When the wine costs more than the food, that can't be right but we still went back.Dear illbesixfootunder,Thank you for your kind words and we are very happy you enjoyed our food and have been to our place 4 times in one week.However, please note that wine everywhere in Indonesia is very expensive due to 100% import taxes. In fact, our wine is one of the most well priced in the area.Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to fix that. I guess we can blame it to the customs instead.Thanks,Alex

Went here here for breakfast because of the 5 star reviews but were disappointed. I ordered the cheese and bacon omelette. It was salty and fried in a lot of grease. Not much other flavour. Came with some rocket with no dressing and three cherry tomatoes. Wouldn't recommend. I have already reviewed this restaurant as my favorite in Bali and one of the best ever. on this occasion I want to talk about the menu chef at Alba's white truffle who performed us ... simply fabulous and superb! a wonderful experience that I wish for my followers who live or go to Bali on vacation. even if you arrive late for the white truffle I assure you that depending on the weather you can enjoy excellent culinary routes (we have already done that of the foie grass of black truffle or crust truffle as well ... for example) bon appetit !!
