If you are staying in Philipsburg go to Fat Boy Jimmy's roadside BBQ. Fabulous chicken and ribs. If you get the combo dinner be prepared for a lot of eating. Great people, great food, picnic tables by the roadside (plenty of parking) or take it away to graze elsewhere.

Although I've wintered in St. Maarten for ever this was my first visit to Buffalo Wings. This restaurant is located just above Izi & Ginger Sushi on Welfare (Airport) Road. The place is simple, clean, the service is fine and the food is surprisingly good. They have a varied menu but we kept it basic with two burgers & an order of wings.According to my adult daughter the wings were the best she's had on-island. Her mother & I felt the same way about the burgers. They were cooked just aa ordered and were very tasty. Too large to finish for lunch so they traveled home for a later visit to the microwave. If you're looking for a solid lunch or a casual dinner in Simpson Bay, Buffalo Wings should be on your list ... it certainly is now on mine.

What a surprise to come across THE Ohio State flag blowing in the St Maarten breeze. Being native Buckeyes ourselves (born and raised in Ohio), of course we had to stop in for a drink. Buckeye fans, regardless of where youâre from, look for Pirates in Paradise on the Boardwalk, Great Bay Beach. Great atmosphere, food, and drinks! Thanks to Mike, the owner, for bringing the Buckeye Nation to the Caribbean!

What a beautiful day at the Great Bay with the friend & staff of I Love SXM beach bar restaurant. Super Troy made sure our beach chairs & umbrella were just right! Super friendly and helpful! Lisa, our waitress was so efficient with delivery of our bucket of beer and food! Love the Caribbean upbeat music and even a diner live!. My tastebuds woke up with each meal brought to each table! We had wonderful views from our outside table, plus we were ate there on a night with music performed near our table. So ambiance was there. We also had very good service.The wine list had a number of selections from several countries at reasonable (for a resort) prices.The Caesar salad was average, but tasty. The sweet plantains were very good. The mahi mahi was a good size and came with plenty of vegetables. The rack of lamb had an amazing sauce and also came with potatoes and vegetables.The molten chocolate cake with ice cream was a great finish to our meal.

In the Caribbean heat, this place offers a cool, modern, sleek atmosphere. Memorabilia reminiscent of a museum and the best views of Philipsburg Beach from the second floor terrace. Each and every staff member greets you with a smile. Drinks and food are delicious and prepared to perfection. Ask for Mede (Retail), Michael and (Dirty) Diana at the bar. Israel is the Manager, he ensures an excellent experience!

Found on a supermarket parking lot corner close to Phillipsburg west end. Place was full of big tables, Service was a bit awkward. Food plates were huge. It came with 3 side orders which were Mac and cheese (cold,overcooked and dry), scalloped potatoes(dry) and salad with a tasteful dressing. I ordered Mahi, it was delicious and perfectly grilled. A huge meat lasagna portion really tasty. All you can eat ribs for $24 were the real deal. Baby back ribs that are boning and tender. I would definitely go back for ribs for sure, better than Lolo's or other local place.

We have been to Burger madness on previous visits. The owner Sharon is very nice and has best drinks on island. We had two pina coladas for $10. They were great and potent. We have never had a burger there basically becasue we have food on ship.

We sailed in on a cruise and were just looking for authentic cuisine. He surpassed that and then some! He was more than friendly and had more to offer than just food. He has the most amazing BBQ banana sauce that is to die for! His kick as sauce and calamari with curry mayo is amazing !!!!!! He also offers beach chairs with drinks at a low price and works with other locals for discounts with jet skis and such! I had oxtails with plantain and rice and peas my husband had the jerk chicken philly ! Amazing cannot say again! Best food for first time visiting St. Maarten !!! Thank you
