The sign says Abyssinia Cottage Restaurant and Bar, rather than Ethiopean restaurant and bar but I assume it is the one reviewed here as there are hardly two Ethiopean restaurants on airport road. It was my first time in an Ethiopean restaurant in about six years and I knew, but could not remember a hangup I had the last time I visited one (in Frankfurt). I ordered the vegetarian platter and soon realised what my earlier problem was. I simply donât like injera. The rest of the platter was mostly well spiced and flavorsome. Mostly, because the green beans and carrots were fairly bland but the Aleche Aker Kit was particularly good. Had I another few nights in Entebbe I would have probably returned for the mixed meat platter but substituted rice for injera. Ethiopean coffee was so thick my spoon almost floated. It was well worth the authentic experience and nice for a change but most times I would prefer the less macho Americano with a wee drop of milk!

The decor here is great, what a lovely bar! Visited here twice, first time for Tilapia which was gorgeous. Second time the owner (James) cooked us a traditional English Roast dinner! What a guy! Highly recommend it here!

Warm and friendly atmosphere, lots of servers on hand. The walls and TV focus on pictures and videos of motorcycles.Large juicy hamburgers, indoor and outdoor seating available. The mall where it located Is very new, and not full of busy shops yet., close by there is a casino.

What an amazing dinging experience ? Loverly food, great ambiance and excellent service. What I like about Maanzo is that it caters for everything requirement, from the fine dining, sports lounges and a week stocked bar. There are a couple of lounges with large curved screens with selection of movies and HD DSTV. Even has views of the lake.

This is my second time to eat here. Food is actually quite reasonable, or even at least it was. I can't tell about this time because I haven't gotten my food even I made the order one and half hours ago. After giving negative feedback to staff about it, they locked up. There's one family who ordered before us. I recommend to eat here only when there's no one else before you. Kitchen is not really organized. Dear Ukkol,Thank you for taking the time to advise us of your recent visit and your phone call enabling me to confirm and address the issues you highlighted. Iâm very disappointed the food took far too long to be served and the poor service you received. This level of service is certainly not acceptable and will be addressed individually with the team and also with improving management processes. Thereâs an upstairs deck overlooking Lake Victoria. Or dine downstairs with a table right on the lake. We enjoyed both the Caesar and green salad(delicious, fresh, and large enough to share and the banana leaf steamed tilapia. Also huge portion and large enough to share. Nice food, good pricing
