We were here around the holidays in December and it was beautiful! It just snowed and it looked like a winter wonderland! The best part was the you could actually feed birds and they came and go food from your hand. My kids will remember that for the rest of their lives. If you go there definitely get bread or cookies with you. You'll have an amazing experience! I can't imagine how beautiful is in the spring when everything comes to life!

This place offers various experience to its visitors. Those who visit it regularly (at least 3 times a day) for curative purposes are accustomed to both its interior and the water. Those who drop by just to get an impression will not be disappointed either.
There are three excellent bas-reliefs there. Of course, you should taste water (a few small sips from several wells) - you may want to read some scentific description of its chemical composition on the walls in several languages.
Do not expect a pleasant taste and/or smell of the water - its world-famous curative features come from oil-based ingredients. We were told that 40 years ago the smell had been almost unbearable until special odour filters were installed :) However, people get accustomed to the water quickly and drink it easily.
Keep in mind there are breaks during the day.

Firstly, the 19th century villa called “Hoplyana” in which the museum is situated is worth the visit! The stained glass window that presents itself as you ascend the beautifully carved staircase is lovely.
Although I had never heard of Mykhailo Bilas before, I really enjoyed seeing the beautifully crafted tapestries of his that hang on the walls of this museum. They are all colourful, well thought-out folk type works, with well annotated details beside each exhibit.
