One of the best activity to do in Geneva, wine tasting and walking in the vineyard make for a great few hours.

Randomly stopped here after a visit to a nearby castle. With no prior notice, received a quick tour and wine tasting. Grapes grown fermented and aged on the grounds. Limited open hours but worth a visit if the time works out. French is the primary language so if you don't speak it, plan to use a translation app (lol, I did w no problems) :)

Beautiful vineyards even during winter, it is worth it if you are in the region of Montreux. My friend took me there with her car and we had a beautiful view of the lake with the vineyards. I am sure it looks even more beautiful when the weather is clear and when they are more green. It was the first week of January.

We purposely scheduled our trip to Lausanne to visit the annual wine festival and it did not disappoint. Each vinyard that we visited was so gracious and hospitable, not to mention the wine was fabulous.
