We stayed in Guaruja for a w.eek and really loved this beach. It stretches for miles. Good safe swimming and not as cold as Ipanema in Rio. Lots of restaurants just across the road from it. Highly recommended.

This beach, wich was located just a short walking distance from our hotel is a tiny wonderful and peaceful piece of white sand. It looks and feels like a tropical lost island with its palm trees and blue sea. it is hidden from the general public most of the times but quite easy to access. Warning: take a good repelent with you if you wish to stay till late.
