My friends and I are very glad that we used Uluwatour for a private round trip transfer between Recife and Porto de Galinhas! Our driver, Caio was a safe and reliable driver. We are thankful that he was flexible with picking up our group when there was a last-minute flight schedule change. He also arrived at the scheduled time so that we could depart on-time. I highly recommend this private transfer service, as well as Caio as a driver!

The best way to see this beautiful island! We had an amazing time on the boat ride and BBQ. The atmosphere was super laid back and fun. The captain was incredibly accommodating considering we were running a bit late to catch the boat! ????????‍♂️ ????. The food was delicious and fresh. This is the best excursion by far on the island. Just bring your sunscreen and a towel. You’ll be set!

We were a group of 18 and were very satisfied with the driver service and the tour guide. Super Van didn't have a guide that spoke English or Spanish and took us to a place where you hire official guides, We hired one that spoke Spanish and he was excellent. He was very knowledgeable of Olinda and Recife.

6. Recife & Olinda Highlights

Leonardo Rodrigues Ferreira

Compare past and present with a tour of modern Recife and colonial-era Olinda. Take a panoramic ride through Recife, crossing graceful bridges in the old town areas and on the way, you will drive along the scenic shoreline through Boa Viagem, passing the imposing colonial-era Governor’s Mansion and Santa Isabel Theater. Arrive in charming Olinda and begin exploring. Founded in 1534 and named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1982, historic Olinda retains many fine examples of colonial-era architecture, despite the Dutch burning down much of the city in the early 17th century. Visit Sé Cathedral and admire its Portuguese tiles and gilded carvings. Stop for a photo of the picturesque views of Recife and Boa Viagem, and enjoy a refreshing beverage before returning to your Hotel.
