Beautiful nature, charming, clustered stone villages, hospitable locals with a pleasant, melodic dialect, and excellent cuisine will strongly impress the visitor of Slovene Istria, who travels along the narrow winding roads in the hinterland of the Slovenian coast.

"Divje babe" is a palaeontological archaeological site, a Karst cave in steep rocky slopes above the Indrijca Valley. The most spectacular find was 55,000 years old bone flute, made from the bone of cave bear, in which Neanderthal recessed four holes. Bone flute is the oldest musical instrument found in the world, that is why Sebrelje or Cerkno region is called "the cradle of world music".
My suggestion is to make a hike from village Reka. It takes about 45 minutes to reach it climbing through the woods. We had luck to join one organized tour so we could enter. So ask about entrance before you go. After visiting the cave where the oldest music instrument was found, just prolong the same path to the top. You will be rewarded with the nice viewpoint at the st. Ivan church. You can return from the path on the other side of the church.

one of the most picturesque points in Maribor. There is a wine bar in the tower, with tables and chairs right on th river bank. The iron bridge nearby is one of the most interested in town as well.

The City Museum of Ljubljana records, collects, documents, evaluates, preserves, interprets, researches, and presents the material and immaterial heritage from the area of Ljubljana and the city's wider surrounding area, dating from Prehistory to the present day. With the merger of the City Museum of Ljubljana and the City Art Gallery of Ljubljana in 2009 into the Museum and Galleries of Ljubljana, the city's largest cultural institution, the museum became part of the living and current museum-gallery offering in the capital. We maintain genuine contact with our local and foreign visitors, our exhibitions and events serve to popularise collections, and we encourage dialogue between heritage, art, and the challenges of contemporary society.
Ljubljana can be quite rainy sometimes that's why visiting museums is always a good idea. This museum is located in the center of Ljubljana and you get quite a lot of information about the history of Ljubljana and Slovenia as well when walking through exhibitions. They also have special exhibitions that are worth a look as well. Make sure to check out the coffee shop in the basement when you finish with museum because it's one of the best in Ljubljana

Td-sempeter.si Almost 2,000 years ago, an immensely important Roman road was passing through Šempeter, connecting Roman towns Aquilea, Emona, Celeia Many powerful Roman patricians lived nearby and some were buried in the tombs of the Roman Necropolis in Šempeter. The discovery of the Necropolis happened quite coincidentally in 1952, when works in an orchard revealed a statue of a sitting woman. Few years after the excavation, the beautifully preserved archaeological site Roman Necropolis in Šempeter was opened. It is still seen as one of the most important remains from the Roman era in Slovenia and in Central Europe. The Roman Necropolis is an open-air museum in which works of art of most skilled Roman craftsmen are exhibited. After the Roman Necropolis had been discovered, more than 600 items were found and over 100 family tombs excavated. The most beautiful tombs are the large tombs made of Pohorje marble, ornamented with the high-relief statues of the buried families. The Spectatius family tomb is the largest and is covered with reliefs of four seasons. The Ennius family tomb is said to be the most beautiful and depicts the mythical scene of Europe’s abduction. Every tomb tells its own 2,000-year-old story, describing antique . Worth to visit
