Hi Skopje Hostel is located in the comfy zone, at the base of Vodno Mountain, outside hustle and crowds, yet 10 min walk from center of Skopje. It’s location on a hill, makes the place secure and perfect for the fresh air, for the sunrise side and the wonderful panoramic view of the city. We are two girls that own and run this hostel, and after lot of traveling, we make a hostel like Skopje deserves.With its own garden of 600m2, Hi Skopje is one of the few places in the city, where you can relax, have nice stay and meet new people and cultures. The warm atmosphere in the garden is enriched with summer cinema and lounge parties.Its own natural beauty, with hundreds of plants, inspired us to describe the 4 elements of the nature, within the hostel. Hi Skopje has clean and comfortable mix dorms and private rooms, and each of them has element that represents the natural beauty of Macedonia. There is a large multi-purposed room, with PC , Wi-Fi internet access and a cozy fireplace, where you can share your traveling experiences.Every morning we serve free breakfast, and a free tea and coffee during your stay at our hostel.We’re expecting you!

Reviewed By HiemithGreat experience and highly recommend Hi Skopje. The host is amazing loves his city and always ready to help, for advise or a chat. Simply loved my stay. Ended up extending my stay because Skopje was amazing. There is a bit to do in town and a few really interesting day trips. The hostle was very clean and comfortable. Good wifi, excellent info on local tourist sites.

The perfect stay in Ohrid!
Reviewed By kilometrosparaelmundI was there last week, travelling alone. The place was a superb recommendation of a friend :) The place has nice shared areas: kitchen, dinning room and terrace. The kitchen has everything that you need (including salt, oil, tea, etc.), and the dinning room has games and a huge TV. But the best thing of my stay was the owner, Djoko, that was very helpful with all my questions and also very friendly (we had interesting conversations). If I'm coming back to Ohrid, I wouldn't hesitate: I'll go back to this hostel! So my recommendation is that you do the same :)

Double bedroom with AC, we stayed in January and it was warm in room, when outside was -10 in some days. Big balcony, computer, and staff can help you to find everything what you need.

Reviewed By Kit oThe staff was really friendly, and the room was really nice and at a good price. Skopje is not a very big city, so you can walk from the hostel to the center such as the stone bridge. Highly recommended.

Reviewed By Freshmind4uMaki (the CEO of the hostel) always went the extra mile to make sure that all of the guests were happy. He would listen to them and then intently give the best advice that he knew in not only traveling, but everything. He would socialize and try best to make it so that everyone was happy and I truly appreciate him for doing that. Not only this, he also made sure that you had a great breakfast each morning as well with fresh yogurt, adjvar, cheese, eggs, bread and perfectly made coffee. It didn't stop there for he also got me burek on my first day and then he would get great rakija from a reputable maker so the evenings were happy. He also bought boxed wine a few times for all the guests. Things like this don't get unnoticed and I for sure can appreciate such hospitality. I felt so guilty at the end for indulging in all the hospitality that I had to get him a bottle of good Bourburn as a gift and a token of my appreciation for being so hospitable. Thanks for the great time and I hope that we meet again someday:)

The hostel is located in the center of the town, 500 meters from Kale Fortress, city park and lots of museums, restaurants and cafe bars. All of the rooms have a hand basin with hot and cold water. One room had its own bathroom. Costumers can enjoy and relax in our beautiful garden.
Not a nice owner
Reviewed By maartenb847Hostel is old, but ok. Beds are crappy with the springs in your back. Owner just visits the place, cleaning lady is at reception most of the time. We forgot a toiletry bag. Owner said for a week long that he would send it by post tomorrow... After a week he just said he didn't want to do it... Not a nice guy at all. Hope nobody spents a dollar there.

Reviewed By crastinasLa nostra stanza aveva una bellissima terrazza, il letto era spazioso e la camera molto accogliente. Il wifi prende benissimo. Tuttavia il bagno non era pulitissimo e il centro è a 20 minuti di strada a piedi, ma i taxi portano in centro con un euro.

Reviewed By TuijaWiThe place is very simple but the owners are super friendly people. Very good Wi-Fi even the rooms are in the basement. If you don't want any luxury this is just for you. The price is right including simple breakfast. I felt like home over there and I'm going back next month.
