Reviewed By Jane EImmaculate, modern apartment. This is a campsite with apartments and restaurant/bar, The atmosphere is warm,friendly quiet and peaceful. The food is well cooked and good value, the trout is excellent. The lakeside is great for swimming and has loungers and umbrellas. The brother and sister who run it are a pleasure to talk to. Their English is excellent and they are very helpful.

Needs renovation
Reviewed By minecetinWe stayed one night. It was old and dirty. Needs deeply cleaning and renovation.And the mosquitos eas a big problem. I think on the half eay between city and airport. I wouldnt suggest anyone to stay there.

Reviewed By larsd910I was here for fourth times and it’s stays the best camping in years. The views and the people are amazing. Really helpful and they do everything to help. Very warm and friendly. If you are in the neighborhood of Macedonia you really have to stop at this camping and have to enjoy their food with amazing and priceless views and enjoy the wonderfull owners! See you soon!

camping lakeside is a small camp, but a wonderful and quiet place for your vacation. It is located on the very shore of Lake Ohrid, has its own beach, beautiful view of the city of Ohrid, every morning we offer free coffee. Visit the place, make sure and feel at home.

Reviewed By SuSiSabEin unglaublich schöner Campingplatz, der vermutlich nur für maximal 4 Wohnmobile Platz bietet, dafür hat er echt Flair. Ein schöner Rasen, der unserem Hund sehr gefallen hat. Stromanschluss vorhanden! Die Sanitäranlagen sind fast wie zuhause, sauber und echt schön! Zum Geschirr waschen gibt es zwei separate Becken. Der Campingplatz liegt direkt am See, das heißt, ganze vorne gibt es einen kleinen Steg und einen strandähnlichen Zugang ins Wasser - zum Baden eignet sich der See nur für Hartgesottene, da relativ viel Schilf, Seerosen und Algen mit ihren Einwohnern wie Frösche und Fische den Zugang bewohnen. In der Früh und am Abend gibts super schöne Frosch-Konzerte - richtig schön! Des Weiteren gibts dort eine echt schöne überdachte Terrasse, die mit Bänken und Tischen ausgestattet ist (auch Lampen für den Abend sind dort vorhanden!). Die Gastgeberin ist eine junge Frau, die einem gleich das Gefühl gibt, zuhause zu sein! Wirklich sehr nett und freundlich! Als Willkommensgetränk haben wir einen Kaffee bekommen. Das ist wirklich einzigartig! Ein Kühlschrank mit kalten Getränken, wie Bier, Wein, schweppes, Cola, etc. ist auch zur freien Verfügung gegen eine Gebühr von 1-2€. Direkt nebenan befindet sich ein Restaurant Galija, wo man wirklich gut essen kann. Und wirklich zu günstigen, mazedonischen Preisen - drei Personen mit Wein, Wasser und dreimal fix, plus 1x Vorspeise und 1x Nachspeise - ca 42€. Der Campingplatz ist überhaupt super günstig - für zwei Nächte 3 Personen und 1 Wohnmobil €20. Wenn wir wieder mal in der Gegend sind, kommen wir auf jeden Fall gerne wieder :) Danke für einen tollen Start in unseren Urlaub!

The best baches to go to in Ohrid!
Reviewed By Seaside19304004196I haven't stayed at the camp but I've been every day to a diffrent beach, there are 4 or 5 of them. Lake water is crystal clear! And the nature is like heaven. There are 2 restaurants, food is average I could say not very good. Better don't eat burgers, meat is mixxed with soya probably or something because it doesn't taste as meat at all. In general this location is the best for swim although the lake is so clean everywhere is nice.

A place to get a getaway
Reviewed By selena36I hate camps and trailers but Elesec has grown on me. Perhaps because the people that go there are related or know each other for a long time and they are familiar faces, the beach is great and the water is warmer than in Ohrid. The only drawbacks are: 1. hot water is available after 6.30 pm; 2. No Internet connection! And people pay good money to the camp management, a decent WiFi is the least they can provide. As for other things, something is always happening and if you get tired of the company you keep, you can withdraw and be a loner all day long.

Terrible beach bar
Reviewed By Blaze IThe camp is OK but the beach bar experience was a disaster. Ordered a nonalcoholic cocktail. It was supposed to be with mixture of juices and whipped cream. Instead got mineral water, ice and brown sugar. Got a lousy excuse from the waitress. Would not recommend.

Disgusting!
Reviewed By Boudewijn BWe've seen our fair share of bad campings but this one trumps all. The sanitary looks and smells like it hasn't been cleaned for years. Warm water? No. Toilets? Only gross ones. Really, take my word that there are far better campsites on the beautiful lake.

Really for scouts
Reviewed By Marcela JDirty toilets, noisy nigths and management and personal who don't care at all. If you want to speak to receptionist at 9.15 in the morning and you call a number written on the door because there was nobody at reception and you get sms: "please write a message". This aproach I dont consider as professional. Price is rather high in comparison to services offered. Never more for me. I dont recomend to those who want to sleep during night.
