We come here so my husband can surf...I generally hide under an umbrella. Nice beach, and off season..really relaxing. We usually come in May-June or Oct-Nov. In summer, lots of people are here and the beach is packed with families. If you can come off season, the water won't be warm, but it is pretty. Great for photos..and relaxing. Small children really enjoy digging here in the sand..good place for families. Not huge waves, but there are always surfers here..hoping.. and Surfing the small waves. Nice sandy beach..a restroom is available..and some sort of showers. Bring food and drinks though.. maybe only in summer you can buy something to eat. Off season, we carry our own. One of the nicer Beaches in my opinion.

I loved this place it was so cool. I have never fed a toucan let alone held one or even touched an owl. Great for toddlers and up. Bring extra money so you can buy all the food you want to feed the birds with! There are tons of different ones and you can feed fish if you want as well. Unforgettable experience. A must do!!!!! (Unless you are scared of birds)

MOA Museum of Art

It has been 33 years since MOA Museum of Art was established in 1982, and we are currently carrying out refurbishment construction to renovate the exhibition space and museum facilities. The renovation of its lobby area and exhibition galleries are being provided by New Material Research Laboratory, led by world-renowned contemporary artist Hiroshi Sugimoto and architect Tomoyuki Sakakida. Contrary to its name, New Material Research Laboratory is focused on researching materials and techniques used in ancient, medieval, and early modern times, and finding ways to incorporate them in contemporary architecture and pass them down to the future. They will be exploring a myriad of possibilities to design incredible spaces for the MOA Museum of Art. Hamamatsu Air Park

We visited here on Silver weekend so it was super busy. Entrance was free and the exhibits were very modern and well presented. It was done very professionally. There's a lot of fighters, historic aircraft, flight simulators and helicopters, a shop and a restaurant. The building itself is a fine example of modern architecture. You don't have to be an enthusiast to appreciate the exhibits. My only gripe was that we had to use a taxi to get there and back to our hotel as public transport is extremely difficult - the area is almost rural.

Yume no Tsuribashi Suspension Bridge

Deep blue water and trees heavy with pick sakura blossoms, or bright green leaves, or alight with the fire of autumn (depending on the time of year), and ricketiest bridge I've ever seen. The Yume no Tsuribashi rocks back and forth and bounces up and down by what felt to me like a foot or more. The walk way is narrow too, just 2 planks of wood. Don't let that scare you, it's a lot of fun and view is something special. Come and you'll understand why so many people are drawn here
