Various pools (hot/cold, outdoors, indoors) and also a steam room and a sauna, slightly small in comparison to other places but overall a great and relaxing experience.

If you like walking, then this is paradise.
This modern cable car takes you up from near the railway station and bus terminal at 1280 metres to 2142 metres extremely quickly. At the top the possibilities for mountain walks are endless.
We had a couple of hours so we walked westwards for almost an hour; went down to Ftan in the chair lift; and then walked back to Scuol. The whole adventure cost nothing as we had a week's tourist pass provided as part of our package at the Belvedere Hotel.
The views were simply magnificent and the air was incredibly pure...and the weather was not bad either. Although we did not use them, we passed two mountain restaurants
The area has a lot of well marked paths so is good in Summer...and as a ski resort it looks as if it is pretty good in winter.

Engadin Adventure

We had a TERRIFIC time rafting with this rafting company!! I was scheduled for a full day of rafting.... a morning session (with extensive safety briefly), a BBQ lunch break and then in the afternoon, back out again for more crazy rapids.
Highlights: everything was provided (wetsuit, helmet, shoes) so no hassles. Great instructor; made it easy to understand what to do and despite the intense (INTENSE!) rapids, I never felt unsafe.
Also literally just steps from the train station, so easy to find.
Overall, a GREAT adventure! Highly recommended. :-)

Museum d'Engadina Bassa

Reviewed By SergeLourie - Richmond-upon-Thames, United Kingdom

The museum is down by the river and the extraordinary covered wooden bridge over the River En.
It is a converted old farmhouse and initially seems average. However, it has around 16 different rooms going down into caves and secret places under the house.
It has a fine collection of items reflecting the life of local residents over the centuries
You can see such things as farming collections, tools, furniture, musical instruments, books, photos and paintings.
The curator was not particularly friendly (I think she was a volunteer) but one was able to wander around the museum. It is open daily for a very short time from 16:00 to 18:00 and there is a small entry charge

Fundaziun Nairs

Reviewed By M83 M - Biel, Switzerland
