Cemetery in a forest park / arboretum. This is not only place where there are graves. This is beautiful, green space with interesting sculptures and fountains to walk around and think.

Jewish Cemetery

The best Jewish Cemetry I have seen. This cemetry is cared for and well maintained, AS wonderful exhibit of a funeral parlour at the entrance. Wonderful to see a Jewish cemetry not totally destroyed in Poland. Gret to combine this with a trip to nearby Radegast.

Cmentarz Zasluzonych na Peksowym Brzyzku

Reviewed By smallhausen1 - Bratislava, Slovakia

This is an example that cemetery is not always a place of monumental sadness and memories. This is rather a meeting place with history of Zakopane, it's famous personalities, as well as showroom of local sculptors. Each grave is different and you can feel a piece of history behind of all of them.

Stary Cmentarz

Reviewed By PrincesseChaos - Rybnik, Poland

Piękne miejsce, nawet w dosyć ostrym deszczu, w którym nam przyszło spacerować po cmentarzu. Ciekawy zarówno historycznie, jak i architektonicznie - unikatowe nagrobki i pomniki. One of the most beautiful cemeteries I've ever been to, even rain didn't stop me from admiring the place. It is interesting not only in a historical manner but also the architecture - unique tombstones and monuments.
