其实很一般，没什么看头，照片拍的很美，基础设施基本没有，一个宾馆八间房，帐篷逼着你租，而且还很脏，还有一切都贵的要死！来了之后我的世界就没有嵛山岛了。

This area is good for a half to one day visit if you are travelling nearby. In my opinion, not a must go. We travelled for about half an hour by car from Ningde city centre followed by a 15 mins sspped boat rdie to the islet. Besides the short hike aroung the rocky islet, we passed many fish farms. Sad to see that the bay is polluted with plastic and other wastes. However, many un-countable plastic bottles are also used as floats to hold up nets and dividers at the fish farms. We bought some seafood - small octopuses, crustaceans, etc from one of the farms. We then stopped at another farm and was warmly hosted by the husband and wife owners whose 2 school going children are boarding with their teachers on land. The two teens in our group of 5 had a great time fishing whilst the adults chatted and was updated on the local fishing industry and living conditions. The morning's catch and those bought were cooked for our very sumptious lunch. Cold beer and wine were available to go with the meal. This place is good for those who like the sea, fishing - also from the shore, not necessarily at the fish farms) or fresh (Chinese) seafood meals. Overnight stay option is available at the fish farm with very basic condition.

We took an optional extra tour with a rickshaw ride through the so called ancient Huotong area in Ho Hai area of Beijing. I had been there 20 years before and it was then a truly remarkable experience, people living in extended family groups in tiny houses.
When we visited this time more than half the houses were gone or replaced by new "old Huotong type houses". It wasn't quite the same. We had a great lunch in a family home and the owner entertained us with his extra livelihood gained through cricket fighting. Quite hilarious.

艺术馆位于会展中心附近，有公交车挺方便的，不需要门票。其实里面就相当于一个小的博物馆，宁德的博物馆。陈列着一些比较有历史的东西。在宁德的朋友们可以空闲的时候去逛逛也是不错的，了解下宁德的历史。
应该是刚开不久的原因，没有多少人去，挺安静的；里面的工作人员也很客气礼貌。
