Nantong (Chinese: 南通; pinyin: Nántōng; former names: Nan-t'ung, Nantung, Tongzhou, or Tungchow; Qihai dialect: [nie tʰoŋ]) is a prefecture-level city in Jiangsu province, China. Located on the northern bank of the Yangtze River, near the river mouth. Nantong is a vital river port bordering Yancheng to the north, Taizhou to the west, Suzhou and Shanghai to the south across the river, and the East China Sea to the east. Its current population is 7,282,835 at the 2010 census, 1,994,708 of whom live in the built-up area made up of three urban districts.

Well not bad as myself been to Nantong 10 years ago. But look at Nantong now it change so fast. This time round I stay at Jin Shi International hotel not far from Auchan approx.10 minutes walk. What you need they have it here at Auchan from supermarket right up to the trendy shops . Such as Nike, H&M, Uniqlo,Lee, Levis, Adidas and many more the list goes on. You want coffee Starbuck also available. Food outlest there's Pizza Hut, KFC and others too. No comment at all.

This has made travel so much better than fairies. Traveled over brifge three times while here. Now takes only 2 hours between Shanghai and Nantong

Like the title says, it's a cute museum and in a great riverside location. However, the museum is small and you will not need much time to view it. Also, there is very little English supper that I saw, so unless you read Chinese or have a translated, you might not get much out of it.

Not much to see except Nantong city history. It has a nice park to walk around.

A very pleasant park, green and lush with many pretty Bridges over the water. It's a good walk and very relaxing. Take your camera, there are so many stunning views. A great get away from shopping or work.

Many of the usual large mall attractions, well laid out, clean an easy to find. Assessable for taxied, central meeting place. Some excellent food venues.
