とにかく立地が抜群で、目の前に鳴門大橋が見え、その下にはうず潮も見ることができました！岬の先端にあるので敷地は狭く、店舗もわりあい小さいですが、観光客は多いので店内は混んでます。また、自家用車で行きましたが、かなり手前の駐車場で車を停めて、シャトルバスで向かいました。

淡路島は英国と大変ゆかりがある島だ。三洋電機創業者の井植家（松下幸之助氏の実妹の夫、義弟）は英国風をアレンジしたゴルフコースやイングリッシュガーデンを大事にこの地を開墾した。ファームとパークを持った大公園である。花が咲き誇っている場所。今が一年でもっとも気候も散策も良い。

巨大な玉ねぎのオブジェと屋根より低いフグ登りが見られます。なかなか絶景です。
うずしお資料館では小さな渦潮を実際の模型で見ることができ勉強になります。小学生くらいのお子様にも楽しめるのではないでしょうか。
お土産屋さんや食事処も綺麗だしいい感じでした。
道の駅は混雑していましたがこちらは落ち着いた感じで気に入りました。
玉ねぎのユーフォーキャッチャーもやりたかったな

朱塗りの大鳥居が目立つ「国生み神話」に登場する「おのころ島」所縁の神社でした。縁結びの神社としても有名です。正月なので福豆を頂くことが出来ましたが・・・大変な人出で、驚きました。伊弉諾神宮へ初詣に来たので、ここへも参詣する行程を組んでいたので参詣しましたが、それにしても沢山の人でびっくり・・・。平時は参詣者も居ない静かな神社なのに・・。

The artists handling the puppets are wearing in black and covered their whole body. The puppets are so lively that soon we forget the people behind them. Although we do not understand Japanese, we were given some briefing on the story line so that we know what they are telling us. There is a male artist speaking and singing throughout the whole show and therefore playing all the characters. Sometimes we confused the character he is playing. No photo taking allowed during the show.

This "michi-no-eki" road station equipped with shops, casual restaurants, parks and boat boarding area. Shops have so many souvenirs and you can't be bored when you wait for cruise ship.

ここに「国生み」神話がなかったら、多分、誰も渡来しないでしょうね。ここも「自凝島」伝承地を自認する地の一つ。上空から(私は上からは見たことないので知らないが)見たら勾玉の形に島が見えるらしい。島そのものよりも「上立神岩」が有名で、神話では高さ３０ｍのこの巨大な柱のように海上に突き出した岩の周りをイザナミ・イザナギの男女の神様が回って婚姻したと云われている「天の御柱」とされています。そう云われると、それらしく見えて来るから不思議！

たまたま看板を見つけ、立ち寄りました。
ポニーと牛しか見かけませんでしたが、試飲した牛乳の美味しさに感動すら覚えました。牛乳独特の喉ごしの悪さが全くありません。
お土産に買って帰りたかったしたのですが、帰京が4日後なので諦めました。
ちなみにソフトクリームもいただいたのですが、当然のように濃厚で美味しかったです。
我々は利用しませんでしたが、バーベキューを楽しめる食堂スペースもあります。
