This burger kitchen was once the No.1 burger in Japan a few years ago, so it was very famous. With such reputation, we drove there just for trying burgers.
Burger size was not large, please don't compare with USA's one. For me it's good enough though. In overall burgers were very delicious, I can understand why its taste was so good, because ingredients (such as onion, which is a popular product there) from Awaji Island are all good quality.
For fries, I suggested to try sweet potato fries (鳴門金時いも捧). That was crispy and sweet, again thanks to the good quality of sweet potato.

I went to this restaurant with my mother and sister last year in December.
We can have a meal while looking at beautiful scenery here.
At this restaurant, locally grown onion , sea urchin and the Awaji beef are delicious.
We ate “Awaji beef ! uniku-Hitsumabushi”.
Many Awaji beef and sea urchin were put on rice.
First, I tryed simply Awaji beef and sea urchin on top of rice.
Second, This is often eaten by dipping soy sauce and wasabi.
Finally, I ate it pouring dashi (bonito stock) over rice. It's very delicious!
When we looked at the outside of the window, we saw Naruto whirlpools. It's wonderful seascape!
We were satisfied with dishes and seascape very much.
If I say only one point complains, the price of the dish was slightly high. I think that I want the restaurant to make that a little cheaper.
So I gave 4 stars!
Please go to this restaurant!

Fortune Cake & Cafe has 7 varieties of chiffon cake and coffee drinks right near the Uzushio Cruise port. It's a delicious cool sweet treat! (and they'll pack it with ice to go)

Great place to take a picture of what was once the world's longest suspension bridge. I have made over a hundred trips to Awaji Island, and I always pull into the service area/parking to take pics, and have kakiage soba.

The girls hotel service and food is excellent, the wine list have good choice and reasonable price. Staff are friendly and efficient. Except they don't have laundry service and safty box inside the room which is unusual for the size of the hotel with 200 rooms.

I was traveling and found here from trip advisor and went to lunch . I ate tempura combo it was actually really great !! My friend were eating Chirashi bowl , I tasted and fish was really fresh . We also enjoyed local sake which is so smooth. Restaurant is very local and they don't speak English much but they were very nice and thoughtful . We are really enjoyed this restraint . Price is decent also We will definitely want to come back !
