Best experience for those who enjoy ghost stories, violent true stories and Mdina's medieval history. We will be going in depth in Mdina, but we will also be going around other famous landmarks in Rabat in the privacy of a private car. There is some walking involved since Mdina is only accessible by foot. I will also be explaining the history of Malta along the way whilst still visiting some of the most famous landmarks in Mdina and its surrounding areas! I will give you time in each location to admire their beauty, take a few photos, ask your questions and take a stroll around. Mdina is one of the must see places in Malta and you will see hands on why its called the silent city. An experience not to be missed!

Birgu is the city famous for being an ancient maritime city. Since it has a rich history in military and maritime activities, it is not surprising that the place is crowded with Ghosts. Just imagine, prisoners were beheaded by the Knights of St John and their heads used as cannonballs against the Turks. In fact the city still has Ghosts roaming around, in search of their missing head. Public executions of those who confessed a crime was the norm. It is also said that the Inquisitor’s palace once even had a well of swords used as a portal towards eternal damnation. The second world war between 1940 and 1943 also caused inescapable deaths and destruction throughout the city. Such events along with other dark periods which Birgu witnessed throughout the course of history have left their mark, and many still claim that ghosts haunt this city till today. Join us for a thrilling adventure, and learn more about Birgu’s dark past...

Regardless who you are, if you're going to Malta, you have not experienced fully without this guided tour of Valletta. In one day I did first the Valletta tour and then the Mdina tour with Matthew as a guide and I could not have been more satisfied. The way Matthew tells the stories of the city, reflecting on the leadership of the various knights of S:t Johns order and the strategic location of the city up until more recent times, makes you want to start studying history yourself. Even more, a real historian true to his form, Matthew skilfully relates the more contentious topics of the history and politics of the region's last millennium or so, but with objectivity, so that you yourself learn the different points of view and get a deeper understanding of what has formed Malta as she is today. To summarize - don't come to Malta without taking this tour.

My experience was terrible. Buses are all super old and broke. Doesn’t have audio at all, so you pass by places and don’t even know what you’re seeing. Bus drivers are not even a little bit polite, doesn’t use microfone to inform stuff and I even had the “unluck” of waiting to hop on and the bus driver just passed by me, making me wait for another 45 minutes for the next bus. Really a waste of money.
