Never been to the Sahara Dessert? Here is a miniature version of it! A great place for kids and family, Ive seen people rolling down and doing back flips down the dessert.
It is located quite a distance from the main square in Leba, so walking is not really an option, a bicycle rental is available but it takes time to cycle as well. You can get a cheap cart ride ( 11zl two ways trip from the main square to THE ENTRANCE of the national park ) , later, you have another few more options to reach the Lacka Dune.
I suggest getting a ride which is quite costly but its worth it as walking takes an hour and a half.
A summary of the dunes, it spans a huge area. While you are on the top, you can enjoy the spectacular view of Leba and the Baltic Sea. There are restricted areas to preserve the original look of the dunes.

Fine white sand beach with good concessions and restrooms. Wind screens, umbrellas, and chairs available for rent. The beach to the west of town is said to be less crowded than the beach to the east. We went early (9:30) and there was plenty of parking (15zl for the day).

A huge site, fabulous for children (and adults!) very clean and well-kept, with long walks through marshland (on board-walks) and woods along which are life-size models of all kinds of dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures with descriptions in Polish and (mostly) English, as well as a (rather random) Wild West area where you can pan for gold (costs), get your face painted (free), shoot (costs) and buy souvenirs. There is also a mini zoo and big play park at the end; this has loads of climbing equipment and slides, bouncy castle slides, and tables for the adults to sit at with table service of drinks and snacks. It's really well done and well looked after.
There are restaurants and shops; the restaurant halfway round is decent and serves food such as pierogi, chips, drinks, beer etc. At this café they also have a stage with kids entertainment (in Polish only) starting every couple of hours.
You can hire a pedalo boat to paddle about the watery bits of the park; it's very flat water with life jackets if you want them.

I have not been to Gdansk/Gdynia but if I compare with other seaparks (Wladyslawowo, Hel) this one is the best. Large Aquariums with live seals and sea lions, some other Exhibitions, very large area to walk and plenty of attractions for kids.

Just west of Łeba is the Maze Park; take the last exit at the first roundabout you come to in Łeba (to the left), then turn left down the concrete road just before the Polo supermarket (which also sells lots of nice beer).
It is a hedge maze (still growing so a bit see-through in places) with viewing towers, a café (including toilets), a sandpit and a couple of other grass mazes. Tickets were 51 zł for two adults and two children. It was quite good for an hour or two.
The tickets also give you entry to the Magiczny Ogrod Gier (Magical Garden Games) just over the road from the maze. This is basically a field with various big outdoor wooden games dotted across it, like giant marble mazes, shove ha'penny type things and so on. Also quite good.

Great place on the outskirts of Leba but with an easy access thanks to numerous electric mini buses.
Fascinating open air track of go carts, numerous varied rope park tracks, quads, shooting range. Lots of fun!
All safe and constantly moinitored by well trained staff.
The wait staff in bars is opposite - bored and not very attentive. Toilets ought to be visted and cleaned more frequently.

Warto odwiedzić pole golfowe. Brawo za pomysł i świetne wykonanie. Atrakcja odpowiednia dla młodych i starszych. Wszystko zadbane, poziom trudności zróżnicowany wiec można spędzić tu sporo czasu. Mam nadzieje że z biegiem czasu pole golfowe będzie się rozrastało :) pan z obsługi pomocny i miły. Polecam - dobry wybór po obfitym obiedzie.

A Polish friend reccomended this Museum to us and we made the effort to drive up from Gdansk for the day to visit it as we have a passion of WW2 and Cold War history.
If you intend coming you really have to do your homework. We expected some kind of signpost on the way into Leba - nothing. Luckily we had researched the museum and knew it was near the village of Rabka, more luck we saw a sign for Rabka and followed it ! (The Museum is a few miles to the West of Leba).
Driving towards Rabka all traffic on the road is diverted off into a car park. No choice really so we parked up in a very full car park. A car park attendant told us we needed to go to the National Park ticket office which was a 5 min walk away. We got there and had to buy a ticket to enter a National Park. The museum is 3 or 4 Km away from the entrance to the national park - and there are small electric busses that ferry people along the road towards the museum (Although most people carry on to the dunes further along). So you pay to park, enter a national Park, get a small bus and eventually arrive at the Museum and pay to get in...... not massive ammounts individually but collectiveley quite a bit.....
The museum is a small affair containing 7 or 8 missiles and various other exhibits such as small artillery pieces and some small arms set in the woods. The real dissapointment was there was an awful lot of information available but absolutley no information in English. There is a V2 (replica) SAM2 Guideline and some German prototype missiles.
There is a small cafe on the way into the museum.
So a bit of a sod to get to and no information in English. Possibly not worth a day trip to get here but worth a visit if in the area.
