The best museum in Egypt so far for ancient Egyptian monuments. It is a massive museum that has been collecting centrally the Egyptian mummies, sculptures, and tombs, and almost everything. Now, some mummies have been transferred to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, and more items are progressively transferred to the new foreseen Grand Egyptian museum. A guided tour is recommended to hear marvelous stories.

We took this tour in February. Our guide Hoda was very knowledgeable about the history as well as local traditions and Egyptian life style. The tour was very well organised and quite comfortable despite a lot of temples and tombs to visit. Excellent experience, highly recommended! P.S. It was great to see a female tour guide.

It couldn't be better!!! We came to Cairo from Mexico. Mohamed our tour guide it was the BEST!! I feel regret to don't book my other tours with him! It was a few restrictions in Alexandria like the library its closed because of COVID but he did worth every minute in our tour. He takes care of my future wife and me and very respectful every minute. Thank you Explore Egypt Tours I hope every tour guide its like him. By the way, his spanish is great and also the driver Mahjmut it was super kind and nice. Both of them are the a great team. 1000% recommended!!!! Carlos & Fernanda!
