Had a drink in here, didn't stay as we didn't like the atmosphere in this one. Ended up sitting around a table that was for people who are eating.

Good choice of table sizes and location. The coffee is excellent with a wide variety of flavours and styles ie latte, americano, cappuccino etc. Teas range from builders to fine specialised flavours, also cold drinks fresh or bottled/canned on offer. Food ranges from toasted teacake snacks to full meals freshly prepared and served. I had scrambled egg on toast with two rashers of crispy bacon my friends had toasted sandwiches. The quality of the food is very good and the staff are friendly and helpful. Prices are very competitive and the food is worth every penny. Well worth a visit.

We met our daughter and son in law here on Saturday and weren't disappointed. The pub was old fashioned, the service and food excellent. Two of us had "whale" and chips, fabulous batter. My husband had the delicious suet steak pie and my daughter had the fish pie.
We opted out of dessert for a while and say and chatted. There was no hurry for us to leave. We ordered sticky toffee pudding served on loads of toffee sauce. My husband asked for apple and blackberry pie but He thought it was rhubarb and apple. Still, it was devoured.
We'll be back again.

Lovely restaurant with authentic feel. The food was gorgeous. The bread basket starter was great value at £4.95 and we couldn’t finish it all. The olives are huge! Only negative was the slow service but the restaurant was very busy and we weren’t in a rush so it didn’t matter that much. Would definitely go back.

Visited this Fish and Chip Restaurant with a friend mid week afternoon, were greeted very warmly by a staff member would gave us the opportunity to chose our table. We were then offered the Menu which includes a very good 3 course Senior Offer which we accepted. The soup was home made Tomato and Pepper full of flavour, the Haddock Fish and Chips was excellent in a very crispy batter, this was followed by Rice Pudding and Jam what a treat!!, the price is very reasonable including tea and buttered bread less than £20 for 2. The performance of the staff continued from the warm welcome thorough out the meal and nothing appeared to be too much trouble.
Well worth a visit, the only minus is the staircase to the 1st Floor restaurant in quite steep and the is no sign advising of the exterior step on leaving

Took three other couples and thoroughly enjoyed the food and service. Started with the poppadoms and chutney followed by sharing platters of the street food. Most of ordered Dosha pancake mains with a token “meat” ball fish and a mushroom curry.
Finished off the evening with coffees. Great group evening meal.

We were staying nearby and so ventured out to Boston Spa, which is a very quiet town. We were pleasantly surprised and there was a great selection from the early bird menu. The service was excellent and the food was lovely. We were pleasantly stuffed - you don't often get a lot on a set menu. I would highly recommend this place.

Although the food flavours were excellent, one of the dishes contained a long hair which got wrapped around of of our guest's tooth. Yuk! No apology (although that meal was not charged for). The waiter service was surly with not a smile from any of them all evening. One of our party was asked to move his seat so the waiter could pass - without even a "please" or "thankyou"! Def no return for us.

We ate here after a local tour. We’d pre- ordered sandwiches, quiche and desserts. All ready and waiting for us and prompt drinks service. Attentive staff throughout and the lunch was excellent and incredible value.
The place was busy with regulars, cyclists and office workers coming in for lunch but never seemed packed and the staff gave friendly attention to all.

With our bustling cafe going from strength to strength, our regular customers know this is the place to enjoy delicious home cooked meals and home baking all day every day. We are ideally located for that "quick bite" when out indulging in a little "retail therapy" with a casual and informal atmosphere that is ideal for family eating. Our spacious and comfortable conservatory is also a great venue to host a party, informal get-together or business lunch where you can relax and leave the hard work to us! Situated on Thorp Ach Retail Park, the area offers a multitude of shopping experiences from Home Furnishings, Electrical goods and a Garden Centre too. Opposite our cafe is a fabulous children's play area which was completely refurbished last years and is a 'must' visit for families with young children. Toilet facilities are situated adjacent to our 'Take Away' facility which is also open daily. We are child and dog friendly and welcome families and large groups. Reservations are available too as is advance booking of food and 'take a way's.

I regularly have a mid morning break at the Bistro when out with our U3A cycling group. My wife and I also occasionally go for a light lunch if we are out shopping. The food is good, wholesome, British items served in substantial portions [we usually share a scone for example]. There is a 10% reduction for pensioners and for cyclists up to 11.30 am. All the food is cooked on site, the owners and staff are friendly and cheerful.
