This restaurant serves good and delicious HALAH Indian type food. Staff are friendly. Prices are a little high for Indian type food. The ambience is old and needs some attention. They made a mistake in our bill and corrected right away. They also made us pay for a soft drink my daughter spilled

The restaurant was just across the road from our hotel. We didnât want the expensive hotel buffet so we came here. The food was tasty, good value for money and very convenient for where we were staying. The restaurant owner and his staff were very friendly and welcoming. We liked it so much we went back!

Looking for some typical Sri Lankan curry, we came across this restaurant. We were greeted with open arms by the lovely lady who was the owner. We ordered the curry, which was rich in flavor, and just amazing. We were staying in the Taj and we tried the other restaurants along the train track, however this one was by far the best. Make sure you bring cash, and it has very good prices too.

This place is the highlight of my 9 days at Taj Bentota. All the staff was so friendly and they even went above and beyond to make drumstick leave sandwich for me as I tested their service.I met Rana in person and he is so humble and helped out with anything we needed. It was such a great atmosphere and food was better than 5 star restaurants and resorts in this area. I hope to be in touch with these guys and they really gave us a very memorable time in Bentota. Thank you Nila Rana and rest of the team.

Angelika's is our late afternoon coffee restaurant,It's location on the beach together with the friendly staff is unquestionably superb.The service is excellent as is the cappachino.We had our valentine's night evening meal on the beach,as my wife and I do not eat fish Angelika prepared a special meal as per our requests,which we thoroughly enjoyed.Thank you for the lovely review

We had a delicious seafood dinner here at coral reef. The setting was magical and the waiter service was second to none. He was so attentive and informative about our food and where it came from. He even bought 6 living lobsters to our table (to show us just how fresh the food was here!!) A really delicious dinner. I can imagine we will eat here again before our holiday is over!Thank you very much for your lovely review .

We were a group of 8 looking and wandered into this restaurant for a late lunch.We ordered some beers and some placed at least 7 different orders for lunch. The beer came and we waited for the food. And waited... After 35 mins I went in to inquire..It's coming' was the reply, 'just 3 more minutes' which turned into 20.It finally arrived and we fell upon it like we had never eaten before. I know I had the barracuda steak I do't know what the others had! But we polished the plates off! The food was good but then we were so hungry anything would have tasted good!I would probably have given it 4 stars had the service been prompt. :)

My lovely wife and I popped into Pier 88's coffee shop to escape the rain one afternoon. It's separate from the main bar/restaurant area in a nice air conditioned room with plenty of comfy seating. As ever in Sri Lanka, decent espresso coffee comes with a hefty price tag. My large cappacino cost 480 rupees but it was pretty good. My wife had a chocolate & banana shake for 500 rupees and we shared a slice of chocolate fudge cake for another 500 rupees bringing the total bill to 1480 rupees. You can easily get a meal for two for less but if you fancy treating yourself then this is a good choice as everything is high quality and the ambiance very pleasant.Dear Eddy,So glad to hear you enjoyed your coffee and cake at Cafe88 Aluthgama.
