Well, in a small hotel in the middle of the Small town where I was born, lies this hotel that has a restaurant.It is not specially decorated or nice.It looks exactly like a rather insignificant hotel restaurant being there just as a proof that there is a restaurant in the hotelBut it has some qualities.It has excellent service and good food.The winelist is long and surprisingly well composed.The Wine recommendations where perfect and the food was surprisingly good.I will go here again.

This café is a popular lunch destination in Lidköping serving âdagensâ (meal of the day) at a typical price of 89 kronor per head. There is a quaint, homely feel about the place â âSkafferietâ means âThe Larderâ â and the café serves excellent fare which can best be described as âwholesome home cookingâ. There is a choice of several hot dishes, with examples on display which have been prepared earlier to tempt the palate, plus a number of alternative salad dishes. The side-salad table is, in our experience, rather minimalist/frugal by Swedish âdagensâ standards, but this doesnât detract from the overall experience which is generally excellent. This is not âfine diningâ and the atmosphere is by no means intimate or cosy (especially if itâs crowded), but if youâre after a quick, hearty, well-priced meal at lunchtime then Skafferiet shouldnât disappoint.

Our colleague recommended this restaurant highly and took us there on our visit. A nice atmospheric place with a wonderful selection of bottled beers! A relatively short menu but lots of choice if that makes sense and everything home made and locally sourced. Great friendly service and some nice red wine too! Lovely restaurant in a lovely city!

We got here by chance after we visited Lacko Slott and were searching for some dinner. The restaurant was very nice and the fish was delicious, especially the fried pike-perch. The staff was welcoming and friendly.

Today we had a lunch here.Service is great they all where very frendly.Food was ok, not great but ok.The idea of how they set it up can have a reduce.

Hvita hjorten is a gem on the island of Läckö, and situated in close proximity to the stunning Läckö castle. The food is remarkable in every meaning of the word. The food is organic and everything is locally produces from the vegetables to catching the fish in the lake Vänern. The chef pointed out that even the butter where manufactured at Läckö Island. The food holds a superb quality in other words. The waiters and the chef is very attentive and friendly. They maybe even throw in a little history lesson about the castle or the area as an extra bonus. Highly recommendable restaurant.
