Villa Harmónia awaits its guests in Hungary’s smallest and oldest town, Visegrád. The town and the Visegrád Mountains are popular tourist excursion destinations; their archaeological significance is outstanding, too. Visegrád is located in the Danube Bend, on the right shore of the River Danube, some 50 kms North of Budapest, surrounded by the Visegrád Mountains, across from Nagymaros, where the ferry goes every hour. Our family guesthouse, Villa Harmónia is located in the valley of the Apátkút stream, 100 metres away from the stream itself. Our guests can enjoy the comfort and cool climate of the valley and the stream under the Visegrád plateau, in a detached environment, yet in a separate, enclosed garden. The guesthouse is reachable via the road leading to the castle, over the small bridge arching over the stream, which is suitable for drive-in as well.

Reviewed By Rebecca NPeaceful and quite location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely room, large and clean, with a little balcony. Beautiful shared outdoor seating area. Plenty of restaurants within a short walk or drive. Delicious breakfast. Hosts don't speak English, so if you don't speak Hungarian or French then communication could be tricky!

Perfect weekend
Reviewed By Alexandr071We arrived for my love’s birthday in April. I couldn’t imagine a more perfect weekend. The four-poster bed of the Love Nest captivated us. The website is easy to use and the rooms are clean and spacious. The staff is kind and helpful. A cake was also ordered for my love at my request. The ripples of the small stream and the chirping of birds only enhance the intimate atmosphere. I recommend the Hotel to everyone. Alma és János Győr

Joyful stay in Visegrad
Reviewed By 494alessiabWe highly reccommend the Hollo Panzió, in the little town of Visegrad. The place is quite basic, but the room is pretty okay. The host Peter was extremely nice and kind to us. Although this place has some flaws, the kindness and helpfulness of the guest made our experience very pleasant and comfortable. Thank you again, Peter!!

Reviewed By Lawrence SThis is a hidden gem of a guesthouse. They have a lovely garden and the best coffee served every morning. This is just part of the warm hospitality. My room was very clean and comfortable. It has everything I needed. I walk out of my door right into the garden. I sit on the swing at night to savor the quiet and night sky.

Reviewed By csernussNice, old style atmosphere, nostalgic. Convenient breakfast with quite a wide choice of food. The staff is really friendly and takes care for the comfort of the guests. The jacuzzi was under repair for the second day of our stay, which we mentioned to be in need of, so the stuff just gave us 2 tickets to a nearby thermal pool! That was a rare kind of behaviour, haven't seen that in any hotel or hostel before. Can warmly recommend!

Owners have caressed their dreams for many years to preserve the value of this magnificent castle and hand it over to its guests.The 3-star wellness castle was opened in 1999. which It has 20 comfortable, tastefully designed rooms with shower, mini bar, telephone and color TV, free WiFi, restaurant, drink bar, provides a relaxing wellness services for its guests.Our hotel is especially recommended for couples and families who wish to spend some pleasant days in the historic atmosphere of the thousand year-old Visegrád town.

Reviewed By Robert K+ This is the nearest hotel to almost every attraction in the town. + The wellness department is clean and pleasing, not so crowded + The rooms are clean with little nuances(which come from the daily use) + The personnel is kind, they are helping what is in their power + The food at the morning buffet is varied, I prefer vegetarian food and always found something to eat + After reading another reviews I can say that the hotel has evolved to a better place - Curtains are hard to operate and need some fixing - The noisy main road is under the window of the panoramic room - We could hear sounds from other rooms(toilet splash, walking on stairs, door opening) - Lack of sockets near the bed, we had to manage the time frames in which we can charge our gadgets +/- Cameras are everywhere
