This place sits right on the beach. Salmon wrap had carmelized onion, cream cheese, avocado, lettuce and salmon. Couldn't have been better. Service was good, ceviches were good, as were the pisco sours and the chicken quesadillas. A lovely view of the beach and surfers.

I visited this Too Tomate 2 times during our stay in Maitencillo. The pizza's were excellent and very light. The drinks were great, too. If you can score a table on the outside deck area during sunset, that would make it that much better! The view is spectacular. I will definitely come back!

Found this lovely tapas restaurant in Maitencillo with a group of 8 friends. The place itself has recently been renovated and is very quirky. The tapas dishes we had were amazing and would highly recommend the sandwiches which were enormous and at a very good price. The artisanal beer was great as well as the jug of sangria.

If you really enjoy Peruvian food, this is one restaurant you need to add to your wish list. Start out with a Pisco Sour Peruano (not the cathedral unless you wish to eat with 1/2 your senses in tack. For an entree, go for the octopus (pulpo) and or ceviche (just try it). Main course selection of Arroz con Pollo Peruano (Chicken w/ Peruvian rice), Pulpo al Olivo (octopus in Virgen olive oil).The Peruvian chefs are spot on with their creations. If you have a request and the restaurant is not busy, ask to speak to the chef. You will be pleasantly surprise.
