The food was amazing - especially the seafood paella (not a traditional paella - a special styled one with masses of lobster, shrimps, fish, crab...) - the owner cati is a wonderful lady and host, the atmosphere in the restaurant is awesome - the rooftop balcony has a nice ocean view. one of the very best of Cuba - private owned and full of the best seafood.

La Marinera

A very pretty paladare which has recently opened up in the last couple of months. Excellent fixed price menus, offering a fantastic paella, salad, rice and fruit for only 15 CUCs. They also offer lobster and shrimp. You can take your own wine – no corkage charged, or they have excellent Chilean wine to serve with the meal. The taxi fare there and back from the centre of Trinidad is only 10CUCs in total. Well worth a visit

This is a really hip and wonderfully decorated restaurant that serves cayman or largatos (animals in the crocodile family). They have local beer (nothing artisanal), lots of Seating, live music on occasion and great artwork on the walls. I really recommend eating a cayman dish!

Traveled through central and south America, this was hands down the best we had. Better than any in Argentina! Great price and great service.
