Old history Japanese style
Reviewed By DannnytienThe room is super nice, very widely and clean; The owner also very friendly, you will feel comfortable to stay; the breakfast also pretty good. Unfortunately the location was not good at all, you need to drive 40 minutes to train station and probably 20 minutes to find a shop. However if you don't mind about this, it still a nice hotel.

Reviewed By Julie TI used the hotel as a base to wake early and go to Kurobe Alpine Route. It is close to the station, but at night, the street is dark. The room was dirty, there were nori on the floor, like if the other guest ate and no one cleaned to the next user. Price was cheap. If you need a place for one night and there's no other available in the area... Solo Female Point of View: I dislike that there were no chain lock in the door. It was quiet and okay, but I disliked the dark in the street at night and the atmosphere from the hotel. I don't think I would have a nice sleep alone. Because of the dirty and atmosphere, I would not return to this hotel.

Good chance to stay at the very local &traditional house
Reviewed By KeizoAmong three choice, I chose Ainokura as this place is very remoted and nothing modern which prohibits my thoughts exists around. Snow is more heavy than Suganuma and much less tourists than Shirakawago.You can take hot sake ''Sanshoraku'' at a cost which is made by local Sake maker nearby eating skewer grilled river fish, vegetables and Sashimi. You have to pay attention to a bus company called Kaetsuno which cancelled all of the sadden(actually they have been cancelled for more than one month but no announcement in the internet) the last bus to Ainokura from Johana which was believed in operation different from others which are officially canelled and announced in the internet. I ended up paying more than 8 times taxi fare than the bus ticket. A bus driver of Kaetsuno on the next day disregarded me and did not stop at the Ainokura bus stop and went about 50 meters and stopped. He shouldhave been thinking about other things or believed that no one would wait there at eary times

Happy stay
Reviewed By ZhaoXiuMeiWe chose to stay in Ainokura instead of Shirakawa-go as it is less touristy. We walked from the bus-top to the Minshuku and it was such a scenic walk. Everywhere is beautiful - from the gassho house to the golden paddy field. The whole Minshuku is lined with Tatami, even the corridor! Our room was huge for the 2 of us. There is a common bath area and toilets are shared (as in most minshuku) We could not wait to explore the whole village. We walked to every corner and climb to the lookout point. Everywhere is picturesque! For dinner, we had a very big spread of food, including grilled river fish which was very fresh. Breakfast was just as sumptuous. Owner is very friendly and helpful. Souvenir was available at the entrance. All in all, we are very delighted with our stay. Will come again in winter.

Reviewed By RESBEAR呢轉無揸車, 攪到要搭最後果班巴士先到, 原來已經太遲,過左民宿附送嘅溫泉,不過店主就算英文好一般, 但都感受到佢嘅好客, 晚餐亦很好味,讚!

Reviewed By Mobile8091141泊2食のプランで利用しました。 お風呂は天然温泉で、肌がすべすべになりました。ただ、洗い場が3つしかないため、団体で行った際には時間をずらして利用する必要があります。 夕飯は部屋食でした。刺身やすき焼き風の鍋、ローストビーフなど海鮮から肉料理まで幅広いラインナップでした。 翌朝の朝食は食堂でした。ご飯がおかわり自由でした。

分かり易い展示内容
Reviewed By YacchanAmarone民宿兼(有料での)展示場となってました。相倉合掌造りの家の内部を分かり易く展示されていて参考になりました。特に2階以上のフロアが蚕から糸を取るための職場になっていたことは興味深かったです。是非訪れてみて下さい。

鰤シャブ最高！
Reviewed By apple_pie_501前もって宿の方に電話して、鰤づくしの季節を伺ってから来ました。 お刺身の船盛りや鰤シャブは言うに及ばす、ぶり大根は血合いの臭みが全くなく、鰤は骨まで食べられて、今まで私が食べてた鰤ってのは何だったんだろうかと思ったほどでした。 照り焼きも、腹の部分だけがとろけるように優しい味で焼いてあって、本当に満足でした。 牡蠣の天婦羅も、驚きの味でした。 もちろん、船盛は完食できる量ではなかったので、次の朝に「昆布締め」にしてくださったのですが、このお茶漬けが最高！ いい旅でした。 お部屋のお茶は上物ですし、桧のお風呂も清潔にしてあるし、おかみさんの心配りが心をほっこりさせてくれるし・・・また来たいと、心から思いました。 「自家製の梅酒」は、お酒の苦手の人にも、ぜひおすすめですよ！
