Stronie Śląskie [ˈstrɔɲɛ ˈɕlɔ̃skʲɛ] (German: Seitenberg) is a town in Kłodzko County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. It is the seat of the administrative district (gmina) called Gmina Stronie Śląskie, close to the Czech border. It lies approximately 23 kilometres (14 mi) south-east of Kłodzko, and 93 kilometres (58 mi) south of the regional capital Wrocław.

Slopes offer variety, well prepared and offering choice. Bit on the pricey side given that there is only one modern 4 person chairlift for red slope skiers.
Downside is terribly organised "karczma" where you lose too much time standing in long queues to get your food. More frustrating is that the solution is obvious - hire more people instead of looking at empty tables. We recommend take your own food - nearby waiter service restaurant takes equally long time to have your meal.
On site ski hire centres offer excellent choice - generally great place to ski ....

This wooden viewing tower on top of Czarna Góra has been built in 2001, in time when just below the summit a huge skiing centre was being built. Czarna Góra mountain is very strange one - much lower than Śnieżnik (it is a part of Śnieżnik massif), but higher than all other peaks in area, provides magnificent views in all directions. Raising sharply above Kotlina Kłodzka plain Czarna Góra is sometimes taken as the highest mountain, even if it's more than 200 meters lower than Śnieżnik.

The name of this landscape park (or Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in England) comes from the name of one of the highest in all Sudetes Mountains peak - Śnieżnik. But some parts of the Park reaching far and wide from Śnieżnik, so far, that you wouldn't be able to see the mountain from furthest points. The shape of Park fits Poland-Czechia border line, which means it's curved on one side, while on the other side it bypasses all bigger towns and villages, and for all of that, it looks like it was torn in some places. Those towns and villages are perfect starting points for all sorts of activities inside Park, such as trekking, walking, cycling, horse riding and skiing. Many trails for all abilities. Also caves, Waterfalls, old churches, museums. All of that can make an interesting trip of at least a few days to this corner of Poland.

Obiekt zagospodarowany i prowadzony przez artystów z charakterem. Dla mnie bardzo ciekawa wycieczka, bardzo też szkoda, że nie dane nam było popodglądać nietoperzy, bo akurat telewizor się zepsuł. Megamiejsce, które zaskakuje i pozostaje na długo w pamięci, moja córeczka właściwie z całej różnorodnej wyprawy tylko zapamiętała Wapiennik...

W Starej Morawie, 1,5 km od Stronia Ślaskiego w Sudetach znajduje się zbiornik sportowo-rekreacyjny. Atrakcyjnie położony , w otoczeniu przyrody, dobrze zagospodarowany. Jest tu strzeżone kąpielisko, brodzik, piaszczysta plaża, molo, wieża widokowa, miejsca noclegowe, pole biwakowe i wypożyczalnia sprzętu pływającego. Dla wędkarzy możliwość wędkowania. Latem odbywa się tu wiele imprez. Między innymi lipcowa impreza z konkursem "Pływanie na byle czym". Byłam tam poza sezonem (wrzesień ). Urzekła mnie panująca nad zalewem cisza, nenufary w oczku wodnym i...stado dzikich kaczek.Polecam to miejsce!
