Reviewed By SHINJIY55建物はこれまでの歴史を物語る風情があり、決して新しいものではありませんが、とても気に入りました。女将さんも優しく、今回は家族での宿泊でしたが、子ども達は自分の家のように馴染んでいました。料理もとても美味しく、満腹頂きました。後から後からその良さが実感できる宿です。

Reviewed By snowkinzThe place is wonderful! the interior is very nicely decorated and the oya-san is a very friendly lovely lady. She did her best introducing the various hot springs and temples around kinosaki. She also helped my carry my bulky luggage up the stairs to my room! During my 2 nights stay, i was the only guest in house. The room i stayed in is spacious and very nicely decorated. toilet is perfect :P they have a ryokan-onsen on the first floor, which was mine only cause i was the only guest. They even have a bookshelf of japanese manga in the hallway. Oya-san brought breakfast up to the room every morning. and the breakfast was wonderful :) She also changed the yukata every day for me. And the yukata! is really lovely! unlike the big ryokans around town, where every guest wears sort of a "uniformed" ryokan-yukata, same colour same pattern for both genders, Kanian's yukata was elegant and nice. I kind of stood out when i was strolling the streets in my yukata hehe. Some tourists from taiwan even asked me for a photo. I really enjoyed my stay here! the best i had in my entire trip. will definitely come back to Kanian if i were to come back to Kinosaki someday! for people taking a stay in Kinosaki town, be sure to try their famous crab! The ryokan is located in a walkable distance from the train station. there are town-buses but walking to Kanian is a lovely experience as you can take in the sights. If you are walking, pop in to the information centre and ask them to draw you a map! They are very very friendly :)

Nice ryokan & handy for sea kayaking
Reviewed By Carole AMy boyfriend and I decided to spend one night in the coastal town of Takeno before going to Kinosaki. There are trains from Kinosaki to Takeno. We didn't know how to go about booking the hotel and got the help of a lovely Japanese girl who is from Takeno via Facebook. If you want to book in English I'd recommend trying to contact the Takeno tourist information or contacting the Kinosaki town page on Facebook. The hotel was small and nice. Nothing fancy but nice traditional rooms with toilet in room. It was very quiet when we stayed (actually July 2015) with only one other group. Only one member of staff spoke a little English but we were in remote Japanese town so can't complain about that! There was a man who spoke no English but we got by with hand signals and drawing pictures! We braved our first public bath experience here, which we enjoyed and were happy that the hotel was so quiet we had the room to ourself! We didn't have dinner at the hotel but had breakfast in the dining room. This was Japanese style with fish, rice etc. It also came with an egg which was raw...We had been given a hard boiled egg at our hotel the day before so my boyfriend smashed it off the table to peel it before realising it was raw! In the morning we got all packed up and headed for the beach to do sea kayaking. We asked to leave our suitcases at the hotel and they said no and told us to take them to the beach with us which we thought was bizarre and rude...However after the sea kayaking, a local lady was set to give us a lift to the train station (a very long walk) so this must have been why they insisted! We really felt like the people in the town looked after us. We didn't see anyone else who wasn't Japanese and a few school children shouted 'Hello!' to us in English so I think we were a novelty! The sea kayaking was fun too & we're happy to be able to say that we stepped foot in the Sea of Japan!

簡單古樸的日式舊旅館
Reviewed By rangeo離車站步行5-7分 簡單古樸的日式舊旅館~就在大馬路旁邊~ 房間都在二樓以上沒有電梯~ 搬行李有點辛苦~ 但價格平實基本該有的都有~ 還有附外湯泡湯券~ 還不錯啦~ 當初再訂房網站比價最實惠的入住~ 整體來說還OK~ 老闆娘很親切~ 那天提早一小時到 本來說晚一點才可進房~但後來就直接帶我們到房間了~ 入住當天房客不多~ 如果人多一點應該會有互相干擾的情況~ 老旅館地板走路的聲音隔音等等~ 不過住住老旅館也別有一番風味呢~ 還是推薦~

スキーの宿として
Reviewed By rurukokoスキーの宿として家族で利用しました。お料理はカニ鍋を選びましたが、量もたっぷりあり、とても美味しかったです。野菜も米も自家製で美味しく、館内も清潔感があります。オーナー夫妻もとても優しく、スキー場へ送迎してもらったのですが、帰りに娘がメガネを落とし、一緒に探しに行って下さり、無事見つかりました。雪道が慣れないので、春スキーを選んでいる我が家ですが、スキー場へも送迎してもらえるのでとても助かっています。家族みんなのお気に入りの宿です。

海水浴には持って来い！
Reviewed By ゆづきち竹野切浜海水浴場を利用するのに、岡本屋さんを利用しました。午前中に宿に到着しましたが、宿の駐車場を利用でき、着替えもお風呂場を利用できました。宿から海水浴場まで歩いて２分！海水浴後も宿の屋外シャワーで体を洗って、そのままお風呂に直行。洗濯機もあり、大変便利でした。また、おかみさんは明るく、大変親切にしていただき、楽しい海水浴となりました。

料理が良い！
Reviewed By tixi767料理自慢なだけあり、料理はとても良かったです！二泊し、カニとステーキをいただきました。カニがほんっとに美味しかったのでオススメ！カニ道楽よりも良いです！すき焼きも美味しそうでした＾＾ 部屋は４人でしたが、6畳？で真ん中にこたつがありました。こたつを上げて布団を敷きました。おばあちゃんの家に泊まりにきたくらい狭かったです。壁も薄くてドンドン響きます。子連れだったので心配しましたが、他も子連れが多かったのでホッとしました。民宿の方は親切で駅までの送迎やゲレンデまでの送迎もしていただけます。スキー場へも近いですし、またカニ食べがてらスキーしに行きたいです！ありがとうございました。
