We stayed 5 nights in Spilia Village Hotel and ate every night in the restaurant. The service was very super friendly, Alexandros, Giorgos and Giannis are doing a very good job. The food is from high quality, the prices very reasonable and very good cretan wines are served. We are planing to come back next year and already looking forward to eat in this beautiful place.

A smart bar centrally situated, this bar offers more than the standard "lager" beers. For lovers of Pale Ales/IPAs etc there is a decent choice...which can be sampled in 150ml smaller drinks on a paddle if preferred.My favourite is the Chania Pale Ale...which made a great change from the stock lager type drinks I was getting elsewhere.Not as cheap as other bars.....obviously, but worth the extra few euros Thank you so much!

Have been here twice for dinner and both times we had a fantastic dinner. Restaurant offers traditional recipes and use only local products.Restaurant has a lovely terrace and the furniture reflects the rural and familiar location.During our two dinners we had: rabbit, two types of lamb and Moussaka they all tasted fantastic; special mention for the Kalitsounia with onions, they tasted fantastic and never find anywhere as good as those. Staff is extremely warm and welcoming giving you the feeling that you are visiting your grandma for a Sunday meal. You definitely need to try this place for having a bit of real Greek kitchen.

Everything was perfect. The view and the sunset from upstairs was amazing. Recommend the slowly cooked kleftiko and pigs knuckle. Warm welcome by the friendly family running the place. Perfect follow up during the meal.

Well after a disappointing meal the night before at a different restaurant we went to Socrates hoping for some better food.... and they delivered it. Really tasty, well presented food. Good, decent portion sizes. I had fillet steak and it was cooked to perfection with a gorgeous pepper sauce. The lady owner spent time chatting to us and was so friendly, wish we had chance to eat here a second time before we left! Definitely worth a visit, the view is amazing from the restaurant as well! If you go at the right time you can watch the sunset !
