Moose Jaw Museum & Art Gallery

The MJMAG has a great little gallery! The night we were there they had three new exhibit launches, and each one was a rare treat. Their Discovery room is also very well done, and worth a visit. Unfortunately, we were not able to visit the museum, but I have a feeling it would be well worth it.

Mac the Moose Monument

Reviewed By Olde_biL - Markham, Canada

It's just off the highway, how can you not visit and get a picture with the tallest moose in the world. Especially after Moose Jaw had to win an epic battle against a rival moose in Norway. And, it's free. While there, steps away, is a Tutor jet in the colours of the Snowbirds Air Demonstration Squadron. Maybe stop by and remember Captain Jennifer Casey who we lost in 2020 and the other members of the squadron.

Just a quick stop as had to kill some time in the city. Had lunch, food was awesome, they have a small but efficient menu. Then played the machines, had awesome luck, they have many new machines. Very friendly staff, clean washrooms. There was a senior tour bus in, but had no trouble finding a machine to play. Lots of choice in machines that you might like to play, with a various of prices. Neat Casino and a great place to have lunch. They also had a slot tournament going on, which we did not take part in as we had to leave before it would be over.
