The one thing that made this experience any different from other BPs that we have visited is that it was exceptionally quiet when we arrived. Only one other table in the whole place with people at it made us wonder what kind of experience we were in for. All worked out well enough. Service was good and food was standard BP menu/

Our group of 4 were staying at the Temple Gardens mineral spa and Harwoods was the logical choice for an evening meal. We arrived with a reservation, were seated immediately and received excellent service throughout.
Other than finding the beer menu a bit limiting (molson products by bottle and only 1 other on tap), and the lighting in our corner of the restaurant a bit dim (trouble Reading the menu), everything else was well done.
After sharing appies of beet poutine and calamari (separate dishes!) 3 of us chose the prime rib special and the other opted for chicken. All walere well prepared and tasty, although the whiskey brule and cheesecake desserts were the best part!
Based on this experience I would not hesitate to return or recommend to others.

We used to eat here every time we came to Moose Jaw then stopped about three years ago. We went back this year on a recommendation that the new owners had upped their game. The food was ok and the service was reasonable. The menu has not changed - lots of deep fried things with sauce. Seems like a high end restaurant from the '80's that never moved beyond that.

We came here for a few drinks awhile ago. I know this place has a long history in Moose Jaw so we wanted to check it out. It has a nice old atmosphere and the workers all seemed really nice. I hope to come back sometime.

Our party of seven showed up early and unreserved. We were all very pleased with our meals in general. The hasbrowns were original, homemade but tasted much of oil. We appreciated the quality of the ingredients, fresh and well seasoned. Our server was attentive but not intrusive. The overall atmosphere is small town café, but not Moose Jaw small town, more like population of 500 or less small town. Maybe that is part of its charm. Don't focus on the décor, only on the service and food; well done.

We 4 travelers had dinner here on Sunday, August 27th. There were not many other folks in the restaurant, but appeared to have just 1 person serving, mixing drinks, tending the bar, and maybe helping cook. It took over 40 minutes to get our food, but it was good once it arrived. Very sweet hardworking server-just needed more help.

Rock Creek Tap and Grill

Reviewed By Craig A - Ohio

We had dinner here recently and I would consider my meal to be about average.
They have 6-7 draft beers but nothing very exciting. Their amber ale was more brown than amber and it had a bite sort of like an IPA. Not great.
I had the penne pasta dish which was OK but no better than average. I started with a house salad that was large but nothing special. We had a glass of malbec but it was also not very interesting.
Moose Jaw restaurants are not very exciting so maybe Rock Creek is pretty good compared to the rest.
We ate in the bar area which is attractive with a number of big screen sports TVs.
Our server was super cute and very fun to talk to. She saved the day!
RECOMMENDATION: Eat in the bar portion of the restaurant (door to the right and you enter). But stick with the basic menu items...
