This is a frequent place for me. Plaza Shopping in Ibarra is more known for the shops and boutiques but the Cale Molino is the place to enjoy a very good coffee with some yummy desert. And it's ideal for catching up with friends or go on a date. My place.

We like to gather here for an afternoon coffee or beer to people watch in the plaza. We also had breakfast on morning. The omelet was fantastic!! The staff is very friendly and spoke some English.

everything on the menu looked good, there was a good range of vegetarian options as well, and the staff was very friendly and helpful! the vegetarian pizza was delicious - their homemade crust & bread is absolutely amazing, fluffy, and fresh. great selection of beer as well. a must try if you're in ibarra!Thank you very much for your comment, a pleasure to have you with us and waiting for your next visit, with more vegetarian dishes as I promised ... hahahaha

Lovely decorated place with a great atmosphere and yummie food.The veggie burger as well as the Lomo Burger (Diego) are very tasty.The Tea is excellent.The service was very friendly, lot of smiles and attentive.La Casa de Frida is definitely a great choice in Ibarra.

When we stumbled upon this place, the young waitress seemed a bit unhappy. We had been given long stemmed roses by some ladies in Cotacachi because it was the "Day of Smiles" so we gave one to this young lady who seemed unhappy. Her attitude changed immediately and she began smiling as well. The owner came out and treated us great as well. The salads were wonderful, and on a warm day, they were perfect. The wine is from a bottle (rare in Ecuador in smaller restaurants) and not a box. Free wifi.

This wonderful place a bit off the main square to the east, is worth the search. They have an eclectic international menu, and lots of great coffee drinks. They have gone out of their way to create a comfortable, fun place to dine, and have your favorite hot drink. The lunches are special, and worth the visit

We came to this restaurant on a day long tour from Quito and our guide brought us here. We all had the lunch special -- shrimp and avocado salad, chicken with rice, avocado and a small salad and flan for dessert. Great service, wonderful food --what more can one ask for?

We spent $12, got 2 pizzas (personal sized but we had to take some home because we couldn't finish it), and 2 fruit smoothies. The pizzas were nothing short of amazing! Definitely recommended.
