Reviewed By Benjamin CLES + : ce n'est pas du luxe mais clairement déjà il y a un très bon accueil (pas de souci pour l'anglais, et même un peu de français), ensuite c'est très calme et dépaysant. Effectivement ce lieu a vécu, mais les chambres sont propres (literie et sanitaires), même si le papier peint, l'électricité et les meubles ont surement près de 30 ans. Cela reste fonctionnel, propre et confortable. Nous n'avons pas pris de petit déjeuner. LES - : rien à redire, cela a son charme il ne faut pas trop en demander notamment en terme de prix. Je reviendrais certainement pour un ou deux jours.

Hotel Riverside is privately owned business hotel, which is located in downtown Yambol, Bulgaria. The hotel is within walking distance from Main Street, overlooking the Tundza River. The building features unique architecture and contemporary interior, making it one of the most beautiful buildings in town. The hotel has 12 spacious rooms, including 2 studios and a luxurious penthouse. All rooms are soundproof for greater privacy and have A/C, TV with cable, and Internet access.

Reviewed By Juan LFirst. No river. What is really a municipal gully where storm water if it rains very heavy runs. That is all it is. Secondly we stayed in winter and the room was very cold. Only has an air conditioner to heat the room. The shower is a shower head next to the basin and you stand in the middle of the bathroom, so absolutely everything gets wet. No heating in the bathroom. We were on the top floor. Zero escalator. Breakfast was served well after seven. I had to be out on business by seven. The property claimed we damaged a tv. The only tv in the room was both old and tiny. They requested 180€. I transferred money and sent proof of payment. Almost a month after our stay they have reinitiated the claim. I regret staying here and will not recommend it.

Good hotel, Nice balcony, Good location in a small town.
Reviewed By Piet dAfter a bit of searching, both on- and offline, I found Hotel Diana. It is located on a corner, from which you can easily walk into the pedestrian town centre. Reception spoke limited english on the phone, and it was clear that payment had to be in Cash. The entrance is easy to find next to a supermarket, parking is on the street, but there was ample space. I could park the moto opposite my balcony on the edge of the pedestrian area, in view of the balcony. The (single) room was good, with an ok bathroom, good wifi and airco. The balcony is large, and is a great place to sit. I also got to meet some of my neighbour-guests and have a chat with them. There are several places to eat and drink in walking distance in the pedestrian area just round the corner, and I can recommend the ice-cream place just next door. Breakfast was ok, and checkout was a matter of handing the key.

First visit to Elhovo
Reviewed By Dawn JReception very welcoming. Helpful staff. Hotel very clean and room spacious with fridge and air con. Could have been nicer if there were wall lights or bedside lamps as the ceiling lights were very bright, too bright to watch tv before retiring. Breakfast was surprisingly good for a Bulgarian hotel and very nicely presented. The coffee was served stone cold but as I don't like strong coffee I would not have drunk it anyway. Staff were all very nice and helpful. Would stay again as very handy for us as very near friends.

Reviewed By 211anonymous211The rooms were modern and clean but during our stay we had no water most of the time. On the first night an air conditioning unit in the bathroom fell off the wall onto our 4 month olds head, we were very lucky it didn’t kill him. The windows open fully, making it easy for children to accidentally fall 12 floors. If you like to live life on the edge then definitely stay here. If you prefer a more relaxed holiday maybe find somewhere that won’t kill you or your loved ones.

Hotel Visage, cheap and cheerful
Reviewed By Keith_RootsBilled as "Cheapest in Town", we weren't expecting much, and got what we expected. If you want a room with a bed, TV, internet access, but nothing else, this hotel is for you. If you want matching bedding, fluffy towels, tea-making facilities and complimentary toiletries, stay somewhere else, and pay the price. The room was clean enough, the en suite bathroom was well appointed and spotlessly clean. Staff were extremely friendly, checking in was easy, and we got parked right outside the hotel. The least said about the free breakfast the better, however. Served from a hole-in-the-wall fast-food kiosk, the choice of pizza, pizza or cold pizza was disappointing, and the breakfast area was a rotting canvas gazebo outside the hotel. There's a coffee machine in the lobby, but a far better option is the garage a hundred yards away. Would I stay there again, no.

Just stopped the one night
Reviewed By Dawn JHotel very clean, food ok but the hotel suffers from the Bulgarian Plague of under staffing! When we booked in the receptionist said if we want to use the sauna etc just let them know 15 minutes in advance and he would switch it on. This I went to do at 5 pm but nobody on reception. Rang the bell numerous times but a waste of time. Very disappointed at the lack of service. Dinner was ok but the waitress got our order wrong. Difficult to do as we were the only people eating there! Breakfast was a wait, wait, wait. There were only 2 other people for breakfast besides us but can't imagine how long you would have to wait if they were fully booked!!!! Checking out was another non event. No staff on reception to pay our bill! Eventually the very nice cleaning lady (who seemed to be the only person working) managed to find the waiter from breakfast who had a bit of paper with our bill scribbled on it. The other couple who were checking out wanted to pay by card, but the waiter said they could not as the boss was not there (Obviously) and he was not allowed to use the machine. I paid cash so asked for a receipt which was another can't do. Not very good service as how do I prove I paid the bill??? Would not recommend and would not stay there again which is a shame as hotel is very clean with very clean swimming pools.
